Michael BBC is creating a 6 part miniseries based on War And Peace to air in 2015.Written by the Pride And Predujice miniseries writers.

Colleen Browne This sounds interesting but I cannot imagine how they can get even a substantial amount of what is in the book into the series. Maybe I will be surprised.

Ian I think I will watch the 1972 mini-series (with Alan Dobie and Anthony Hopkins) ahead of this one, and the Russian version filmed by Sergei Bondarchuk ahead of that.
