To be totally honest Oliver was a little glad when she said that she wasn't with Tyler. He ran a finger through his hair and sighed, "My step-mother is... His mother and erm, they always hated me, even as a kid" he said truthfully even though there was more to it then just that they hated him. There was alot more to his story than that, his instincts were screaming for him to just leave.
Aria searched his eyes, looking for an explanation. "You're step brothers?" Her eyes widened. Why didnt Tyler ever say anything about this? "So when he was talking about wanting to kill his new step brother, he was taking about you...." It wasnt really a question, and she was sure he knew that. She shook her head, sighing as she stared at the ground, "That fucking bastard," She growled. He'd always say to Aria and Alex that he wanted to recruit them to help him either make his 'brother' commit suicide or just kill him off themselves, it wasnt like Tyler hadnt murdered someone before. Aria felt so guilty for even considering taking Ty up on that offer, "I'm really sorry, Oliver," She said softly.
Oli shrugged looking away, "It doesn't matter" he told her simply. This is the most he has told anyone anything since he left England when he was twelve, he didn't speak to anyone and then when Tyler, who was a year and a half older, started trying to beat words out of him... it all started going more downhill. Oli was actually a really gentle and happy kid in England but when his mother died and he was sent to live with his Dad that all changed. Even though he never had attempted suicide he did other things that landed him in trouble with his vicious step-mother and that was just as bad, Tyler would occasionally go out of his way to get Oliver in trouble. No one else knows this though, well... except Aria now I suppose.
Aria looked at him, "It does matter Oliver. It matters a hell of a lot more then you think." She covered her head in her hands, a shiver going down her spine. "I was going to help him...." She said flatly, "He told me and Alex about this 'brother' and how he wanted to get rid of him. Like, get rid of him, and he'd done it before, like, at least three times before, I wasnt really thinking about it when I agreed I'd help," She rubbed her arm gently, "And then I really thought about it when he came to meet me and went through what he was going to do, and I just panicked so I told him I wouldnt do it but it all just got out of control, I'm really sorry." Aria took a deep breath. "Go on... Get rid of all that anger oliver, just hit me, yell at me, something." She mumbled.
Oliver shook his head, "I'm not angry with you" he stated tonelessly, he was still angry at Tyler though. "And I'm not going to hit you or yell at you Aria" he said shaking his head, for some reason he wasn't even mad at her. He raised her hand and kissed it like a gentleman as his mother had always taught him to be, "You don't need to be sorry, ok?" Oliver told her firmly.((Sorry about the length ))
((no worries :D))".....You're not angry?" Aria stared at him in complete an utter shock. She couldnt believe it, how was he not even the slightest bit mad at her for what she had just confessed? Like... They were roommates, he'd see her all the time... She bit her lip gently, a small smile playing on her lips as he kissed her hand, "Thank you," She murmured, gently pecking him on the cheek when he kissed her hand, after pulling back, she felt a wave of sickness come over here, her stomach turning. She cringed, breathing slowly.
Oli shook his head, "Hey are you alright?" he asked her, restraining himself from putting his hand on her back. He hadn't had alot to drink compared to what he usually drank and it also took a lot for him to actually get drunk so he was pretty much normal... well that is, normal for Oli anyway. It wasn't like he wasn't able to drive home any, he was going to be fine and hopefully so will Aria.
Aria looked up at him, shaking her head, "No...." She murmured, closing her eyes for a moment, "I feel like I'm gonna be sick...." She forced herself not to cough, also not to move around to fast, knowing it would only come up faster if she did. Did this really have to happen to her right now? When her and Oliver were finally talking, the last thing she needed right now was to spew all over him... She drew in deep breaths, "You might wanna go before I throw up...." She mumbled in a joking kind of way, but meaning it too.
Oliver bit his lip, "I'm not going anywhere" he told her as he flicked his hair from his eyes. "I'm pretty sure there's a bathroom out back" he said to her offering his arm, he knew there was a toilet out the back from that time he stole Tyler's mountain bike from here when he was fifteen, he sold it to some guy some guy and Tyler never suspected Oliver of anything but got real angry at James.
Aria looked up at him with a small smile, "thanks" she murmured, taking his arm and slowly pulling herself up, feeling her stomach flip. god she just hoped she got there in time before she potentially covered Oliver in her vomit. she drew in a breath, following down the back where the toilet was. "thank you for doing this," she murmured again, gently clutching her stomach. when she saw the bathroom she couldn't hold it in and ran straight towards it, locking the door of the cubicle behind and kneeling in front of the toilet, spewing and coughing up all the reminders of how she got like this.
Oliver leant up against the door with a sigh, he felt kinda bad for Aria. When he spotted Tyler across the yard making out with some girl that looked like one of Aria's friends, Oli stayed at the door but his body tensed and he was suddenly angry again. Tyler spotted Oliver and made his way over with his girl following closely behind him, "What do you want Tyler?" Oli said coldly, kinda glad Aria wasn't out here. Tyler smirked "Woah calm down little bro, I just wanted to find Aria" he said with a smirk and a wink, Oliver rammed his fist into Tylers' face. They both hit each other a few times and Oli ended up with a split lip and a cut near his temple before he slammed Tyler into a wall and gripped his shirt collar and pinning him there, "did you honestly think that you could take me Tyler? Maybe when I was a kid... but not anymore!" Oli said menacingly.
Aria groaned softly , throwing up a little more beforeshe heard Tyler. her body tensed. what did he want? she peered through the crack in the door and saw him with Oliver, also hearing what he said. she winced rightly, also seeing Alex. Aria bust open the door and dragged Alex back inside and to James . "take her home . now! before a sue your ass!" she growled, running back outside and seeing Oliver slam Tyler up against the walk. she was glad he had done it, but he needed to stop. Aria grabbed his shoulders and pulled him back, "Oliver! let go of him. he's not worth it. please, just let go . . . " she whispered softly, glaring at Tyler. "why did you want to find me , huh? i told you i want nothing to do with you. and stop messing with Oliver!" she spat.
Oliver held him for another second after Aria spoke before dropping him and storming off, punching the brick house as he went out the front. He hated Tyler so much, there where times when he just wished he could kill him! If it wasn't for Aria back there things would have got alot worst, he wiped the blood away from his lip and noticing that he split his knuckles when he hit the wall... Or maybe while his was punching Tyler...
Aria winced slightly as she watched him go . after a moment of thinking, she followed ignore quickly, "Oliver. . . ?" she called softly. "are you okay?" she asked gently as she stepped up beside him. she noticehis lip and frowned, seeing his hand to. "god, coming here was such a stupid idea. im sorry you got hurt." she whispered, looking over her shoulder as Tyler. "can we go ? I'll look at your lip and hand when we .get back to the dorm . . . " she whispered, her heart pounding she was sure he could hear it. she was scared.
Oliver chuckled,"It's fine, I've had worse" he told her wishing she wouldn't blame herself beacause he was the one that decided to go to the party in the first place. "Come on we'll go" he said, agreeing to her previous question. He looked at his bike with a raised eyebrow, "Have you ever been on a motor bike?" he asked Aria with a crooked grin.
Aria smiled softly. Oliver was great, really really great. she nodded, wondering if he really meant it, but the way he said it made her believe it. and that was something she didn't really do often. she smiled and nodded, "thanks," she murmured, looking over at his bike. "no , i haven't." she said to hi, eyes wide ."your bike is that amazing!! when did you get it?" she moved over to it and ran her hand over the bike.
Oli shrugged "About two years ago" he said with a smirk, "Here" he said handing her the helmet he never wore. He wasn't sure she'd take it because alot of girls weren't into bikes, but then again... When didn't Aria surprise him, she really wasn't like most girls he met. "This bike is a kawasaki ninja 300, the fastest street legal bike" he told her with a smirk, she kinda seemed to be interested in his bike so she may as well know what it is.
"two years and it still looks like that?" Aria giggled, "you must really love this bike." she murmured with a smile. she took the helmet with hesitation. of course he expected her not to wear it. well that's what she thought anyway, but she wasn't one to care about her hair and stuff, so she happily took it and put it on."hmm, well i think id like you to prove just how fast and amazing this baby is." she smirked.
"Maybe a little" Oli confessed with a rare smile appearing. He had to admit he was kind of impressed when she yanked the helmet on without hesitation but that was what he liked about her I guess, the fact that she was so different than other girls. "Well in that case you might want to hold on tight" he told her with a quiet chuckle as he got on the bike, "Can't change you mind now" he said devilishly.
Aria giggled, "its so great when a guy can confess there things." she teased lightly, but meaning it. he wasn't hat she expected at all. he seemed so quiet and angry but he as actually that nice and calm around her, she couldn't have asked for a better roommate. she grinned and climbed on the bike behind him. slowly sliding her arms around his waist. "me? change my mind? as if ." she smirked before saying in a teasing and laughing manner. "come on grandpa, id like to feel the wind in my hair while im still alive."
"Oh you are so going to regret that!" Oliver said twisting his right hand and speeding off down the street. The bike roared as he increased the speed, he couldn't help but wonder what Aria was thinking, "Fast enough for you?" he said over the noise. He knew the bike was capable of alot more but it as already going pretty damn fast, way over the speed limit but the cops almost never were around these parts of town.
Aria giggled, "takes a fair bit to make me regret something," she teased, holding onto him as he sped off. she smiled, beaming when the rush of wind hit her with a smile. "this is incredible!" she called over the roaring noise of the engine. and she meant it. this was amazing! so amazing, something else that followed along those lines was his smell. it was so good! her eyes widened at the thought and she forced herself to think of something else. "i could go with a little more sped but id rather not die!" she giggled.
Oliver grinned "Glad you're enjoying yourself" he said speeding up a little more. His bike is what kept him away from drugs all these years, instead of going and getting a rush from being high he went with an adrenaline rush. It became kind of addictive but hey it's fun right? And he was a little glad he never became addicted to drugs like so many others he knew.
Aria breathed in the night air enjoying herself so much. "i am!" she beamed again. the rush was amazing. alone pumping fast , the engine roaring, words couldn't explain. it was just incredible. maybe even better then drugs. was his bike what kept him from going down that road? she sighed softly. looking at the area. it was agood thing it ya empty .
Oliver smiled and began to slow as they passed the school. He spun around and smirked at Aria when the bike had stopped, "Sorry to disappoint you but we better get back inside before they do the late rounds" he said. Oli got off the bike and held it steady so that Aria could easily get off without the bike falling on top of her.
Aria looked over at the school as they passewd it with a soft sigh, realizing that she had forgotten her black bag that had her drugs and alcohol in it.she bit her lip gently, Shit.... Now what do I do? Maybe its a good thing.... Maybe this will help me stop....? She didnt know.... Aria sighed softly and swung her leg slowly to get off the bike carefully. "It was fun while it lasted." She murmured with a small smile, taking off the helmet.
Oliver shrugged, "maybe one day I'll teach you how to ride, if you want to that is" he offered with a smirk. He was glad she'd enjoyed her self, he hung the helmet on the back of the bike and turned back to Aria, "Let's get inside before they catch us out here" he said offering his hand and looking at the school that was basically like the worlds worst prison.
Aria smiled widely, "Really?!" She looked at the bike, then back at him, "Of course I'd like that! thanks." At least she had enjoyed her time towards the end. She didnt like the party to much when the stuff with Tyler happened, but after that, it was the best. She nodded and smiled, taking his hand after resting the helmet next to his, "Sure." She murmured, heading for the tree to climb up.
Oliver nodded, as they neared tree he looked at Aria "Can I see what you look like with no make-up?" he asked her curiously. It had just occured to him that since he had been here he hadn't seen her without make-up, at all, and it kinda seemed to him like he hadn't seen her for real. Anyone can wear a mask but you don't really know someone until they've taken it off and shown you who they really are.
Aria bit her lip when he asked her to take off her make up so he could see what she looked like. her heart sank. this was the one thing she feared would be asked by someone. but it wasn't like she could say no , cause she'd have to explain why, but if .he saw her scars on her face and the bruises that hadn't healed on her arms. . . she'd have to explain that too!! after taking a breath, she nodded, "okay. . . but your not going to like what you see," she murmured, climbing the tree and pulling herself inside. after makin sure he was inside too, she pulled out her make up removers and began the work. after about a packet of then, all the eyeliner, all the mascara, all the fake tan and bronzer, her face was completely clean. two scars on her forehead were now exposed as well as her cheek, and bruises on her arms. pre sighed softly at her reflection and spun around to face him.
Oliver looked at her and pulled her towards in an embrace that was meant as a friendly gesture, mostly because he didn't have the guts to. "You were wrong, what you said about me not going to like what I see" He said softly, pushing her hair behind her ear with a soft smile. He brushed his thumb across the scar on her fore head "You're even more beautiful like this, the real you" he told her.
Aria's eyes widened at the sudden embrace, but she didnt reject it. She couldnt even remember the last time a male had done that. She bit her lip gently as she held onto him gently. "....You like it...?" She asked softly, beyond disbelief. No one said that, probably because she was never all natural, but there was a reason for that because it had happened in the past... the bullying and shit. A gentle shiver went down her spine when the contact of his thumb to her forehead occurred, as well as him touching her hair, and she felt a soft smile forming on her lips as well as a very deep blush. "D....Do you really mean that? That i look more beautiful with scars and bruises showing?" she stuttered slightly.

Oliver smiled at her, "Scars are nothing to be ashamed of" he said to her "If anything you should be proud of them, wear them as battle scars and let them remind you that no matter how tough times got, you did get through it" Oli told her in his husky british voice. He may have had a strange view on things but there was a lot more to him then first meets the eye.((Why do I imagine him sounding like Harry Styles?))
((Haha i hate it too!! oh my god, i am too!!!!! Eeeeeeeep!!! but i wouldn't have a clue why xD))Aria listened to him, his voice was so smoothing, she swore she could fall asleep right here, right now. she smiled softly, burying her head into his chest for a moment, "thank you, so much. its physically impossible for me to explain how much what you just said, means to me " she whispered, gently kissing his cheek. she was so. . . ugh, words couldn't explain what she felt. maybe, just maybe she'd stop wearing makeup now. . .
((I know they are like polar opposites O_O ))Oliver smiled slightly as she buried her head in his chest, he rested his chin on her head and said "You don't need to thank me for being honest, you are beautiful scars and all." He couldn't believe how much this girl was getting to him, she drove him insane and she didn't even realise it!
((I know! AH! >.> haha))Aria smiled softly when he rested his chin on her head, closing her eyes as she felt herself relaxing into his arms. She couldnt remember the last time she felt like this with a male... "I do need to thank you... Honesty and all, I still need to because no one else has ever said something like that to me, not even remotely close." She murmured with a gentle sigh. Looking over at her clock on the side table, she bit her lip gently, slowly pulling backwards and letting out a soft yawn, "We should probably get some sleep,"
Oliver sighed, "Probably" he said shrugging and slowly dropping his arms with a small smile. "I'll see you in the morning" he said softly, he went over to his bed and pulled out his sketch book, adding a few more lines to the picture of Aria for her scars, now it was finished and he was happy with his drawing. He was a little disappointed that he couldn't exactly capture her complete beauty but he didn't think that any artist could ever do that.
Aria smiled softly, walking over to the corner of the room and taking off her dress, sliding on her sweater and shorts before climbing into her bed. "Yeah, goodnight." She murmured, laying down and getting comfortable. She noticed his sketch book and raised a brow, "What are you doing?" She asked softly. She knew it was his sketch book because she had seen it before, but she cuoldnt help but wonder what it was that seemed so important it couldnt wait until when they woke up. But then she wondered if he would tell her, sure he had shared some things with her about Tyler and stuff, but his drawings seemed really important to him... and a little secretive about it so she wasnt really sure if this would be pushing it as far as 'opening up' to someone went.
Oliver shrugged, "Just finishing off a picture I started earlier" he said with a small smirk. His sketch book held his whole life in ways, some drawings were very direct and others you actually had to think about to understand the meanng. Either way if a person looked through his sketch book it was in ways like reading his mind, all his thoughts were drawn into the book and it sort of showed how differently he saw the world.
Aria looked up at him with a small smile, nodding before she blinked a few times. Well, he had answered that much, maybe it would..... Show her? ha! As if, but it couldnt hurt to ask though, could it? She'd make sure he would know what he didnt have to. After thinking it over for a few minutes, she opened her mouth to speak, "Can I see it?" She asked him, gently rubbing her eyes, "Its cool if you dont want to show it to me though," She told him quickly, just in case he wasnt comfortable showing his art work to people. Aria gently ran her fingertips through her hair.
Oliver bit his lip, it couldn't hurt right? He nodded and passed her his now closed sketch book that contained his life story, why he gave it to her so easily was a mystery even to him. That book had his picture of his mother, father, step-mother, Tyler and pretty much everyone who had enetered his life and made a change to it in someway or another.
"Thanks," Aria murmured as she pushed herself up, taking the book and opening it. her eyes widened at his sketches, "Wow... Oliver, you're amazing," She whispered, running her fingertips over the pages gently, "Is this your mom? She's beautiful," Her voice was gentle as she continued to go through the pages slowly, obvserving and taking in the impact these amazing images were having on her. "Tyler," She mumbled, sighing and flicking the page again, seeing her. "Oliver... You drew.... me?"
He sat there watching her reactions, "Yeah that's my real mother" he said in answer to her first question. When she came to the picture of her he tensed slightly and then nodded, "I draw everyone in some way or another" he said huskily "Especially if my life is effected in someway by them" he added awkwardly. Aria didn't realise the impact she has had on him the past few days or if she did she made sure not to show it.
"This is incredible.... Where did you leanr to draw like this?" Aria asked, genuinely interested in his talent. This was absolutely amazing, words couldnt describe how good he was. She smiled softly, "Its beautiful...." She whispered as she looked at her sketch. "Asbolutely beautiful," She whispered again. Looking at this image of herself made her feel somewhat prettier then she did looking at her own reflection. How was he able to draw like this? She smiled softly. "How have I affected you?"
"My mother was an amazing artist, it was her job, she taught me the basics and I went from there, she was far better then I am though" He said with a sad smile as he remembered his insane mother who thought it was ok to take a day off school to paint. Oliver wasn't sure how to answer her next question, "I don't understand it myself" he started thoughtfully, "before I met you, I would have already been expelled from this school, I would have put Tyler in the hospital and who knows what else, I can't explain it" he said shrugging.
Aria listened to him speak, "You must miss her," She said softly. She knew she missed her mother... and her father, before he turned into an abusing asshole that it. She bit her lip gently with a small smile as she just stared down a the picture. She couldnt get over it that he had drawn it! It really did look like her, but prettier. He sure did capture the scars. Aria let out a gentle sigh as she looked up at him, "...So, I'm stopping you from doing things that you would regually do in another school and to other people."
Oliver shrugged, "I miss a lot of things but at the end of the day you just have to get over it" he said with a sigh. He noticed her smile as she looked at the sketch, he was a little glad she didn't find it wierd. At her next question he sighed, "I suppose in a way yes but..." he trailed off not sure how to explain it properly.
