When someone asks me if the book was any good, I tell them it was mediocre. It didn't really seem all that interesting to me and I mostly just found it rather depressing. Also, I agree with other posts, people are telling me the only reason I didn't like it was because I was expecting another Harry Potter. Yes I loved Harry Potter, yes I thank J.K.Rowling for creating it however, she said she was done with it (for now) and she said herself that this was not another Harry Potter. So no, I was not expecting any wand swishing teenagers to make an appearance. I found this book to follow way too many characters. I think it ended up showing us the lives of about 12 different people and by the end of it 3 of them die. So very depressing. I have to admit, though I was not expecting Harry Potter, it did however shock me by how dark and depressing it was. All in all, I would rate this book at around a 5.5 out of 10.
