A thorough synopsis of Matched & Crossed?

I read these two years ago and have completely forgotten about some of the characters in the second book.
I don't remember who Hunter or Eli were and some of the minor but essential details in Crossed. Would someone like to give me a good synopsis of what the first two plots were?
I basically know this about the second: they are both in work camps and escape into a valley/mountainous dessert. They find an abandoned town and then eventually get to a place where the rebellion is being set up.
Someone please fill in the gaps? I would much rather be told what happened than have to reread.

ok, matched: Cassia and Xander get matched together, but when Cassia looks at he microcard she sees Xander but then it changes to another boy named Ky. Cassia falls in love with Ky. Him and Cassia do the hiking thing during the summer and they kiss an tell secrets. But Xander wants Cassia to love Him. I think in this book ky gets to open away. crossed:cassia goes to the canyons to find ky with indie a girl that escaped from the work camps together they find ky with . boy that he helped name Eli, he's from thedisrict

(sorry)the district central, his parents are dead, he's and aberration and another boy named Vick. Hunter is one of the people that was living in the carvings/canyons. bis daughter, Sarah, died when Cassia finds ky they talk about th rising, Vick dies, Hunter and Eli go toward th mountains and Cassia and indie go toward the rising, ky, walks. xander is in th rising already helping.
