Robyn felt arrows begin to pierce her skin, but she was determined.

WOlf pulled out his katana with his other hand and swiped ferociously. He loped the highwayman's head off. Blood was pouring from his wound.

Wolf lay there, panting.

Suddenly, she fell, an arrow embedded right below her throat.

Wolf forced himself up.

Robyn hit the ground, unmoving.

He staggered over to Robyn.

Her sword was limp in her hands, unused.

There was only one archer left. He kept shooting arrows at Wolf.

Wolf pulled Robyn into cover. Then, with a roar, he threw his bloody katana at the last archer. The blade went through his chest, and he collapsed to the ground, dead.

Robyn stared dead ahead.

Wolf pulled out the arrow.

A soft, barely audible moan came from her.

Wolf opened his pack.

Robyn's eyes slowly flickered shut.

Wolf found a healing herb, and the rest of Monk's elixir.

He crushed the herb into pulp and applied it to the wound.

Robyn drank it.

"Robyn...Robyn...don't die..." Wolf threw the empty elixir vial away.

He ripped a piece of his sleeve and bandaged Robyn's neck.

Robyn looked at him through dull eyes. "You said... you wouldn't... need me..."

Wolf was confused.
"No i didn't."

"You told me... to go away..."

"...When?"

"And then... I walked away..."

Wolf suddenly remembered.

Robyn looked at him curiously. "Why?"

"Because...your life is precious," Wolf said, remembering his conversation with Robyn when she had first tried to come with him.

Robyn nodded sleepily, too exhausted to say anything. Her entire tunic was red with blood.

Wolf was sprinting back towards the village.

Wolf neared the village. His legs felt like jelly. Then he saw Sayuri and Snake. The world was fading. Wolf looked over and saw the nasty blade wound on his arm.

"Sayuri!"

Robyn groaned.

"SAYURI! SNAKE! HELP!" Wolf cried as he fell to the ground, losing conciousness from fatigue.

Sayuri looked up, sprinting over.

Wolf hit the ground, with Robyn on top of him. He was panting heavily.

Sayuri picked up Robyn, slinging her over her shoulder.

Wolf tried to get back up. he fell over.

Sayuri grabbed his hand, letting herself support him.

Wolf tried to walk by himself.
