Melissa Kellogg | 5 comments Hi, I'm Melissa and I am interested in doing review swaps. Goodbye Darkness (collection of spiritual and life-themed poems) is currently priced at 99 cents. If you have a book that is priced at 99 cents, I will happily buy it if you buy mine so that when the review is posted it shows as a verified purchase.

Please intend on giving a paragraph-long review so that it will be helpful to future readers who are considering buying it. If you have trouble doing so, let me know and I can throw out some suggestions.

I can be reached at melissakellogg@rocketmail.com

James Calderwood | 47 comments Bernardo's gypsy clan are trying to flee Poland to travel to Romania During World War Two.
Bernardo who has been foraging for food returns to his clan to witness a Nazi death squad murdering his parents and relatives. He follows the evil one eared and three fingered Nazi commander and his troops as they carry his clan to a waiting grave in a forest glade.
After wandering lost in the forest for two days he is taken in by an old Gypsy woman. She teaches him the arts of fortune telling and medicine making. Bernado is happy living with Zelda and all of her pets. He finds her murdered nearly a year later.
He is caught stealing in a small polish town by the local policeman. He is just twelve years old. Bernado is convinced by this kindly police-man to be taken to an orphanage run by nice Priests and Nuns. The Priests are not nice, he is raped and caned many times by a sadistic Priest. He stabs the Priest in the face with a nail when being raped once more.
He escapes and starts working clearing bombed building sites, where he finds some valuables in the burnt-out building sites.
Bernado collects some stray dogs and trains them to perform interesting tricks. He is earning good money on weekends with his dogs.
A ring master of a visiting circus offers Bernado a job with his performing dogs. Bernado now seventeen notices that the circus has many very pretty girls performing in acts. Bernado is taken under the wing of one performer who teaches him the ways of sex. The lad becomes very popular with most of the girls, who each contribute to his training
He has a dream one night of a way to make money when touring the countries. He teaches his large Irish Wolf Hound and a pretty small dog to help him steal money from the unsuspecting public after the circus shows at night. The small dog comes to people who are carrying bags or cases on the street and acts lame. When the people put their bags down to help the small dog. The giant wolf hound rushes out and steals the case or bag, Bernado is making a vast sum of money from this ruse.
The money-making scheme all comes unstuck when the large dog attacks the ringmaster when he is whipping a young horse. Bernado is beaten up by the circus strong man. He wakes in hospital. When he returns to the circus he discovers his money and jewelry has been stolen.
Under unusual circumstances Bernado recovers the money and jewels and leaves with the ring-masters woman.
They travel to Anzio in Italy where they buy a building damaged by the Allies during the Battle of Anzio. This building was a casino many years before and is restored to its former glory.
Another girl from the circus finds Bernado. She is heavily pregnant. The three of them run the casino.
Bernado takes it upon himself to challenge the church about the plight of the orphans. He finds many dismal orphanages run by people starving the poor children for their own benefit xxx rated

Books by Sheree Smith (shereezy) | 50 comments Happy to swap for reviews of my new book Wild Seas. It can be purchased on Amazon (link below) for £1.99 or $2.61 or just email me.
This time I've veered away from the usual Romantic Suspense I have written about before in Darkest Obsession and A Way to Escape and moved to a more family-based drama of both love and tragedy. I have taken again inspiration from my local surroundings. Flinick, where the story is set, is based on the local fishing/seaside resort of Seahouses and the Fable Isles are really the Farne Islands.

Whit Valentine | 2 comments This sounds awesome!

I write and prefer to read male-male romance, so if there's an MM author out there who'd want to swap, hit me up.

My Susilauma Wolves series is wolf shifters and features the fated mates insta-connection trope.
I have several short stories free on my blog, so you can get a feel for my writing style on there and decide if you'd like to read a full book.

I periodically do reduced-price promos, so if somebody wants to swap with me, I'll gladly wait and tell you when the books will be discounted.

I don't particularly enjoy MPREG, but I can read it and not let that affect my review, unless it's a super bizarre take on it.
I'll only leave positive reviews, so I'd just leave out the stuff that didn't appeal to me.

Clare O'Beara | 188 comments I am making a book for teens free this weekend. I review every book I read. Let me know if you have one free to download / can send to me, and would like to review mine. I read most genres and nonfic, but I don't accept serial killers, zombies or flesh eating bugs. I like YA, SF, horses and technothrillers.
Rodeo Finn by Clare O'Beara

Finn Dwyer, aged fifteen, is growing up on a dairy farm in Ireland, her thoughts of horses and friendships. When she is challenged in the worst way, she doesn't know how to go forward in life. Summer on her uncle's ranch in Arizona with her cousin Sean and a beautiful black mare Juana gives Finn the chance to let go of her unhappiness.
Not only does she explore the Sonora Desert, she learns trail riding, cattle roping and rodeo skills. When her strength and decisiveness are called upon however, will Finn prove herself? Another atmospheric story of young adults, horses and challenges from the author of SHOW JUMPING TEAM.

Clare O'Beara | 188 comments KU does not mean free to download. This means that if you are paying Amazon to be a reader of KU books you don't pay any more to download those ones.
When I say free to download, what I mean is that I have made my books free for everyone for a certain few days.

message 2182: by Clare (last edited Dec 09, 2018 10:15AM) (new)

Clare O'Beara | 188 comments Hi Carissa,

The books look interesting and I enjoy fantasy. I'm particularly pleased to see comments on the good editing and proofreading. From reviews of the second book, I am guessing that the author has a sequence of events in mind and the third book to come will make more sense of events in the second book. With that thought, I'd prefer not to read the second book until the next is available. I would be happy to read the first one. I can accept mobi, pdf, Word or a free Amazon download day, which gets you the 'genuine purchase' mark.
You must expect an unbiased review.

Maybe one of my future London SF books would interest you. If so let me know which one and I will make it free for a few days this month. You don't need to have read an earlier book in the series to follow the plots.

PanOrpheus PanOrpheus | 63 comments I have a new book out, 'The Diplomat and Desperado Stories'. There are ten absolutely wicked stories about two would-be Detectives from the future who come from 'Noirtown', where everything is in black and white except for their hair which has natural blue streaks. Eventually they become 'Agents' in 48 hour 'interventions'. They've learned through experience that readful things happen to them if they exceed the 48 hour limit away from their home in Noirtown. The review will probably be under my given name, Howard Lipman. I'll swap reviews for books in most genres. I love to read and review! Here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PHH58R3/
