Alex Morgan grew up in Nashville with her mom, Lisa. The two of them had a hard life because Alex’s father was killed in an automobile accident when she was only five. With no formal education, Lisa had to work at menial jobs just to pay the bills. While Alex knew that her mother did the best she could, Alex was determined that her family would never have to live that way. College and a career were the primary focuses in her life. Her ultimate goal was to be a news anchor at a prominent television station, but she realized she must start at the bottom and work her way up. She had no intentions of starting a family until she knew that she was financially able to support them.

David Castle was a tight end for the UT Vols football team. His body was in perfect shape, a requirement of football. His original plans were to attend college and get a degree in engineering. While in his senior year David was approached by a recruiter from Jacksonville, Florida, asking him if he would be interested in playing professional football once he graduated from college. Suddenly David’s whole future took on a different turn.

When Alex and David meet the results are explosive. They are two beautiful people who find comfort in each other. Alex starts developing feelings for David, but fears he is not serious. He tells her he is looking forward to the possibility of moving to Florida. Alex knows that she still has three years left before completing her degree.

When Alex moves back to Nashville and lands a job with WKRN, she becomes a force to be reckoned with. After her disappointment with David, she determines that love has no place in her life. Instead she will fight her way to the top of her career. But being a journalist means that news must be covered in the moment. Will she cross paths with David again one day? And if she does, will that same passion still exist?

Note: The Anchor is a sports romance fiction written for mature adults. It contains use of strong language and mild sensuality.

I'm puzzled by your post. You may not realise, but Look Inside gives ten percent, no more, of the book. It also scrunches up all the paragraphs so you miss out on the better formatting of the real book. Just reading this Look Inside is neither a review of the book nor a verified purchase.

Also, it's a good idea to mention the age range and genre so people can tell if they would be interested in your book. What have you available?
