((Sorry, more like two hours :P)Monkey and Ellette stepped oit of the taxi in front of Rez. The building looked very new-age and large.
"This is beauiful" she smiled
Monkey gave her a quick smile. He offered his arm.
Lea entwined her arm to his as they walked inside. "Hello, do you have a reservation?" the waitress asked
"No sorry" Lea told her
"Sorry then, we are full until November" she said rudely before busying herself with something else and not giving them a second glance.
As Lea added a little 'persuasion' with her powers she began to speak again "I thought this was a 5 star restaurant and yet you don't have the decency to even look a costumer in the eye, I must ask you to look me in the eye as I speak." she said as the waitress lifted her gaze to Lea's before being under her powers "Might I be able to ask you to repeat yourself?"
"Terribly sorry madam, I was rude. Please excuse me" she said monotone as she grabbed two menu's "Please, follow me and I will take you to your table"
"Thank you" Lea smiled
Monkey stared at Lea as they took their seats, mouth slightly agape. "That was impressive," he said. He began to smile.
"what can I say... I'm good at what I do" Lea smiled back as they ordered and waited on their drinks
The small orchestra on the stage were playing a soft tune that Monkey found rather relaxing. Gold-vested waiters and waitresses were buzzing about, taking orders and handing out food. It was quite a busy night, the rabble nearly matching the music. 'Maybe I should be making conversation' Monkey thought. He didn't know what to say, this was their first real date. "Eh-herm, uh, nice music..." he said, wishing he could say something more interesting.
"Yeah, it is" she said in the same tone "So, um... you look nice"
"Oh, um thanks, but you look stunning," he said, loosening up slightly.
"Eh-herm, thank you" she smiled lightly in a sweet chuckle. A gold vested waitress walked over with a concerned look on her face, " they are not supposed to be here? What is going on. I check ever booking myself! Who are they " the lady thought to herself, little did she know that Lea was eaves-dropping.
"Put on a rich voice" she whispered to Monkey in a light laugh
"Um, is this good?" He asked, deepening his New York accent, speaking a little slower and louder.
"Perfect" she smiled as the waitress walked over"How is everything going this evening?" She asked
"I must say, it is rather wonderful. Although our order is taking quite a while" Lea said in an English accent, she began playing with her pearl necklace and smiled to Monkey
"And you sir?" she asked again
"I must say, the ambience is particularly delighting, but I must agree with the lady, our order is taking a while, I expect better service from such a spendy place," he said.
"Yes, of coarse" The waitress nodded "Alhough, I can't help but notice that you do not have a reservation. If I am mistaken I am sorry, but if possible may I see the reciept for your table?""I beg your pardon? Are you accusing us of not having a table, yet you can see we are seated" she turned to monkey as if she is repulsed
"Yeah, what is this? I don't appreciate being questioned, do you realize who I am? You act like I need a reservation here, but I could have bought this place. Please, if you want my money, don't treat us like we are just some schmucks off the street." Monkey said, glaring at the waitress.
The waitress was shocked, she was still confused as to who he was and began to speak again "Sir please, I only need to see the re-""No, please save yourself and stop talking" Lea said as she cut the waitress off "Go now and get our order. Then you mustn't disturb us till we signal. What, it's like no one knows who we are. Multi billionares and she does not know us, where have you been living"
"Sorry ma'am it's just you are so young" She said trying to save herself
"Thank you, you may go" Lea said in her accent as she waved the waitress away lightly
Monkey watched her as she walked away. He looked at Lea and smiled. Then he started to chuckle, which turned into a full on laugh.
Monkey's laugh is contageous and she began to laugh as well, but luckily the resturant was louder than them and their laughs where hidden
"You should be an actress," he laughed.
"I am" she smiled flicking hair over her shoulder and taking an exaggerated poze before laughing yet again
Monkey was still lightly laughing as the waitress returned with a bottle of wine. "On the house, please accept our sincerest apologies for the mix up. It is Chteau Margaux 1995." She said as she curtsied.
"Perfect" she smiled as she left again after poring them both a glass."This is illegal" she whispered with a smiled with a laugh
"Funnily enough, I don't care," he said back with a smile. He took a swig, "Mmm, try it, it is so good."
"I will" she smiled as she took a sip "Besides it's not illegal for me"
"Oh screw you," he said teasingly. He took another drink. He loosened his collar and bow tie to fit more comfortably.
"You already have" she joked before laughing rather loudly
A light blush came across Monkey's face as he smiled. ((Have they actually ordered their food???))
((I'm saying they have))Her laugh died down as she took another sip of wine.
((Kk, just checking :)))He also drank more, glass nearly empty. He smiled at her again. Their waitress came to there table again, and behind her came the head chef of Rez and a stainless steel cart. "Because you are such important guests, chef Louise has decided to prepare your salads himself in front of you." The waitress said. Chef Louise began to dice fresh vegetables. He tossed the vegetables with the greens and oil. He placed a generous portion on two plates and placed them in front of Monkey and Lea. "Voila!" Louise said in a heavy french accent.
"Merci" She smiled as the salads where placed infront of them she turned to the chef and smiled "Bravo, c'était une superbe démonstration"."Ah, Merci mademoiselle" The chef smiled back before leaving
Monkey smiled. He poured himself another glass of wine. "Where did you learn French?"
"In Paris" she smiled as she sipped her wine "It was beautiful back in the day, I havent been recently"
"Oh wow, I didn't know you lived in Paris," he smiled. He started into his salad. It was very good, although he peppered it.
Lea re filled her wine before she bagan to eat her salad slowly, savoring each bite as if it was the best thing in the world before washing it down with a sip of wine. "I just visited for a while" she explained "I had relatives live there and they taught me"
"Wow, the only language I know is English, do you know any more?"
"Yea, a few" she smiled "but not as well as I know English"
((Sorry!!! Was cutting my friends hair! :D))They kept up with the small talk until their actual meals arrived. Monkey's dish was smoked pork loin, topped with a grilled potato garnish.
((haha you go glen co co ;)))Lea had Gnocci and pasta with a stringy lasagna and a small plate of roast veggies.
((Shaved him a mohawk! Looks sick!))Monkey pured himself more wine, and primarily focused on eating for a bit. After he was about half way through his meal he came up for air. "Mmm, thish ish,--" he realized he was attempting to talk through a mouth full of food. He swallowed. "This is so good."
Giving out a chuckle through a large bite of gnocci Lea swallowed finishing her plate and wine "It's so good" she smiled wiping her mouth "I am so full"
Monkey finished his meal and fourth glass of wine. "Do you want any dessert?"
"only if we share" she told him as she emptied the bottle of wine into her glass and sculled it, but she shouldn't have, she is a light weight.
Monkey ordered a slice of cake. They each took bites until it was gone. He leaned back in his seat, letting it digest a bit.
"Can I have a martini, stirred, olived on the side, double shot please?" she asked the waitress who was clearing their table
"Could you make that two?" Monkey said smiling.
The waitress nodded and came back with the drinks."thank you" she smiled as he sculled the drink and ate the olives
