I just finished reading this book by Jazzy Mackenzie and I highly recommend it if you like mysteries. It is based in South Africa and features a private investigator named Jade de Jong. There is a series about the same P.I., but this stands alone. I won't tell you the story, but it does involve gene splicing and is very pertinent to happenings in the US right now. Lots of action and extremely well written. If you have read this (please do!), let me know what you thought.
