Yep, I've seen Christopher Eccleston.
He was fantastic, and I loved him quite a lot. He was funny in a goofier sort of way and he definitely helped me on my way to becoming a Whovian.
I suppose I'm only a partial Whovian, since I haven't seen Smith or any of the older episodes.
And, as you say, you never forget your first Doctor.
But I must admit that I love Tennant more.

Really? I searched around using all sorts of different keywords and couldn't find it... grrr. Checking again.
My fave is still Tennant. I love him. And Calamity, we're kinda doing the same thing as you did. Ten is gone and I'm just not digging eleven so we've sorta taken a break. But I think ten will always be my fave.
Okay 10 is my favorite but I LOVE 9 and 11!
I have to admit, Jon Pertwee is the best! His first season was epic! I enjoyed Spearhead From Space & The Silurians. I love David too! And Tom Baker. The 9th doctor wasn't that good but was not the worst!!!! The worst was either Peter Davison or Sylvester McCoy.
Oh, see I liked the ninth Doctor. He's my second fave. :) Of course, I've never seen the old ones...
They are on Netflix if you have an account... I want to finish Tennant before watching some of the old ones.
Ummmmmmmm.... I'll have to say 11. I do like David Tennant, but not as much as Matt Smith. I don't like how the 10th doctor gets sort of depressed near the end of the series. And aso, how it usually goes, is I love the current doctor, then when he regenerates I don't like him at all, then I get to like him even more than the previous doctor.
LOL Same Emily. Well, except for the Tennant thing, but about the regenerating. 10 is still my fave though. :)
I am only new to the classic series and I have mostly only seen Jon Pertwees old ones. That is probs why he is my favourite :)
I don't like most of the older Doctors.. some of them are really creepy...
11 is my favorite, but I also love Tom Baker and Christopher Eccleston.

Yeah, he was good but after Tennant and Smith came along, he was kinda pushed to the side. I loved the dancing episode. :3
My first Doctor was Smith. First episode was the second (?) half of the Weeping Angels. Water from Mars gave me the hebbijebbies.

I love David Tennant, and although I haven't seen all of them, I don't think anyone will be able to compare. He's funny and engimatic and simply adorable.
