Author Angela Johnson wrote the book "The First Part Last". This dramatic book is about a young teenager by the name of Bobby, he is in a relationship with a teenage girl named Nia. During the relationship Bobby finds out that his girlfriend Nia is pregnant with his child. On the other hand he is getting into trouble and doesn't seem responsible to have children yet. But all in the end him and his girlfriend Nia have to decide whether or not they are going to keep the baby. According to the book, "If we give our baby up, we could get on with it. Go to college. Go on spring break. Go to parties." Bobby had stated this in his thoughts because it's what he felt was the best choice for him and Nia. But you will later find out what happens with the baby, and Bobby and Nia's relationship.
