Erica watched as Kioga left then grabbed Mary and went to bed themselves.

"I'm fine to stay up Erica you don't have to worry about me." Mary said with a smile.

"You have school tomorrow so go to bed now." Erica commanded making Mary pout before she left.

Kioga once in his room he looked around and just flopped on his bed and passed out without setting an alarm.

Chet was the first to wake up the next morning and decided to make breakfast for everyone. Some the the smell of fresh bread and warmed ham came wafting through the dorm along with a rich butter smell as Chet made Holendaise sauce.

"Oh you must be that Sky girl from Mary's class. Are you hungry?" Erica asked walking in pulling her hair up into a ponytail.

"Chet! Erica have you seen my jacket?" Mary asked walking out pulling up her socks.

"On you chair where you left it." Chet called back setting four plates onto the table.

Kioga woke to the smell of food as he sat up put on a change of closing kicking his dirty ones under his bed as he grabbed his trench coat throwing it over his shoulder as he walked out of his room he stepped on his coat sleeve and fell face first too the ground bearly catching himself. "Umgh" he grunted

"Some one doesn't like mornings." Erica said as she made Mary eat her breakfast.

Pulling himself up to a sitting position. "Morning is just too bright for me not enough shadows conceal my potatoing." he chuckled. wonder if they'll get that Boshki always did say when I gooved up that I potato'd, wonder what he's up to. he thought after think about what he said.

"It's ok not everyone can be a morning person." Erica said with a sigh as Mary finished her meal and took the plate to the sink and went to brush her teeth.

"Sky would you mind taking Mary to class? It's her first day." Chet asked.

Kioga put on his coat before leaving the dorm room without breakfast as he was looking at his campus map for his first class.

"Umm Chet said that it was Herbs and natural medicines." She said thinking for a minute.

"You two are in the same classes all day Sky is a nice person Mary so don't go shy once I leave." Chet said as he kissed her forehead and walked off down the hall to go to his classes.

"Umm Sky is it alright if I sit next to you?" The girl asked looking nervous she hadn't been in a classroom for years.

As Kioga walked down the hall, looking at his map, "survival, is this way." he said to himself going the wrong way before stopping. "Or was it this way?" he asked himself as he started down another hallway.

Mary smiled lightly and listened to the man who taught them. She didn't take any notes but she did watch him till he got something wrong. She had noticed that others raised their hands to speak and she did and waited like the others.

"Yes Mary." The teacher said pecking over his glasses at the girl.

"Umm you are wrong sir. If you apply Cayenne to the wound it will slow and stop the bleeding not paprika." She answered shyly making everyone look at her.

Erica finished cleaning up after breakfast. Soon she was locking the door to their dorm and walking down the hall to Survival class she failed the final test and had to retake the class. and she spotted Kioga walking around lost. "Kioga are you ok?" She called walking up to him.

Kioga turned "Erica right?, and maybe my brother is the one with the sinse of direction me not so mutch." he chuckled before looking back at the school map. "So which way to survival class?" he asked.

"This way your in my class since I dropped out due to injury last year." She smiled walking down the hall making sure that Kioga was following her.

"How do you know that Mary?" The teacher asked making the girl shy away.

"Umm my pack used to be healers I could probably do the final exam right now and pass it." She said shyly as she looked away.
