The go-live of round II is a multi-step process. I'll try to summarize it:
1.Signing-up on the Sign-ups Round II - Open - You are NOT automatically in Round II, if you were in Round I thread DONE
2.Team Captains/Co-captains invited to "sister-group"IN PROCESS
3.Team Assignments visible DONE
4.Team thread "opened" on main groupIN PROCESS
5.Team members invited/requested to join sister group.IN PROCESS
We are still waiting for all the captains/co-captains to sign-in and sort things out. So far, the only team with "green light" is Atomic Tangerine.
However, you can set your challenge shelf (I believe you already did that) and add books. All books finished from April 12th count for the team's challenge as long as they are tagged on the challenge's shelf.
I hope all the above makes sense. I'm multitasking, so if anything is not clear be happy to ask :o)
Yes, Sonia, everything is clear now. The last two pages of this thread just confused me. Thanks for answering, and if I could chose my team, it would be Moonstone since FG does not exsist.(I saw the team´s name in "sister group" and I have the team´s thread in my bookmarks, so I assumed it exists. I was wrong, not a big deal.)

I was on Tower Team D in the First Round is it too late to continue with Round 2? I thought I would stay on the same team until the end of the year so I was unclear about the Round 2 bit...help....

I tried to explain how this goes in message #453.
Since you are only now signing in, you'll be on the to-assign-a-team list. BUT, your books are already counting to the challenge, the beginning date was set as April 12th.
The rules for this round are slightly different, you can check on them here.

The thread is frozen till all the captains settings are done, which can be translated for: all captains/co-captains joined the "sister group" and the team's challenge. Plus you have to decided how you want to set up your thread and who is going to reserve spots on the thread.
As it turns out, I am available to captain or co-captain if needed. I hope this is the right place to post. Looks like things are a little crazy right now.

I'm gonna start with questions right out of the gate I guess. To fill in the "goal" blank, is it the goal for the entire year or the yearly goal less the number of books read in the first round? Aside from that, I'm not sure there is anything else to do at this point. If there is, please let me know. I don't think our main captain has checked in yet.
Haha, Rhonda, that question isn't a new one. In fact, I asked it too!Lisa Kay said to put in your YEAR goal for this one as well. And make it the same as the first round. If you'd like to update your goal, you need to make sure to let a moderator know first. :)
