I have added all requests up to Post #205! If I missed anyone, or made a type-o on the data, please let me know.

Hopefully, the Google Spreadsheet link still works for the update. If not, let me know. Thank you.

Please note the Key at the bottom is for the CURRENT ROUND I. (Yes, I've been color-coding you all along, you just didn't know it. ☺)

No one has been assigned a Team for Round II, yet.

Also, if you see your hyperlinks in the last few columns, and your Profile is set to Private, be assured NO one will be able to access it, except your GRs friends.

I'm new to the group but would love to do this.

How many books you read in 2012? - 121 books
How many books you plan to read 2013 >/160 pages? - at least 100
If you were in Round I, the percentage of goal reached would be appreciated, if you know it. - I wasn't in Round I
Would you be willing to be a Team Captain? Or Co-Captain? - Not my first time

Mary (merinwe) | 1043 comments Might as well fill this out all official-like. :-) I have to say, you've done a brilliant job with this, Lisa Kay.

How many books you read in 2012: 110ish, I think.
How many books you plan to read 2013 >/160 pages: 150-160? We'll say 160!
If you were in Round I, the percentage of goal reached would be appreciated, if you know it: 48% of 100...which is why I need the higher goal this time around.
Would you be willing to be a Team Captain? Or Co-Captain? Yes! If I had help. It's a lot of work. Although if we had smaller teams it might not be so bad.

Ashley Marie (darlingdoor) | 1733 comments I already signed up for this, but I want to amend my answer to the last question - now that I've seen how everything works in Round I, I'd be willing to be a co-captain if you needed help on a team.

3. If you were in Round I, the percentage of goal reached would be appreciated,if you know it. First time playing
4. Would you be willing to be a Team Captain? Or Co-Captain? Yes after I actually gone through a round or two

Irene Hi. I was in part I and still want to take part. My original goal was 190 and I've slowed down a bit due to a knitting project but I still think I can do it. I'm at 22% of my goal and currently 5 behind but that's about to be 4 since I'm about 5 min from finishing an audiobook.

@ Ozana You also signed up for Round II in Post#200, with a different goal of 50. I'm going to go with your goal of 40, which is also your goal in Round I, in Post #220, unless you tell me otherwise.

P.S. It is conceivable that you might want to raise your goal, as the page count in Round II has been lowered to >/160.

What does {Name Alert} on the spreadsheet mean? Also, I was 345 for round one. 375 factors in shorter books, but I'm happy to have that as a new goal anyway. :)

Sarah wrote: "What does {Name Alert} on the spreadsheet mean?"

It means that there is more than one Sarah in the Tower Teams Reading Challenge, either for Round I or Round II, since there is overlap.

People are constantly changing their avatars - and their names/nicknames! and their goals - and we are just trying to keep them straight. That is one reason we are now even recording their sign-up request by post number, to make sure we aren't signing people up twice. (It happened - once! Which was enough.) And of course, now people are deleting posts in this thread, which has a domino effect on everyone's post number. But, they remain close enough.

Sarah wrote: "Also, I was 345 for round one. 375 factors in shorter books, but I'm happy to have that as a new goal anyway. :)"

I'm sorry, Sarah. I'm not sure what I'm missing here. Did I make a numerical type-o? I've double checked your Post #225 (and don't see an edit to it). I have you listed goal for Round 1 as 345 in several places, and as 375 for Round 2. Is there an error somewhere?

The Round II challenge will specify a date range that will exclude books read before the start date. Therefore, you may use the same bookshelf name for both challenges, if you desire.

You may sign up for Round I, if you like, Oo. It is still going and still accepting members. You will need to go to that sign-up thread.

Round II will start pretty soon after Round I finishes. Unless we have too many unresolved issues.

Steven (gallifreyan1218) | 5272 comments How many books you read in 2012? I read very little last year... between starting a new job and working all the time, buying a house, moving, adopting a pup, etc, I just wasn't into it.
How many books you plan to read 2013 >/160 pages? I plan to read at least 60 books. At least. Most of those will meet the greather than 170/160 page requirement, though a few I've read this year haven't counted towards the total due to shorter lengths.
If you were in Round I, the percentage of goal reached would be appreciated, if you know it.
I was put on team A, and have read 19 out of 60 books for the Team A Challenge, 32%, and am 5% (or 3 books) ahead of schedule.
Would you be willing to be a Team Captain? Or Co-Captain? Considering this is my first year participating in any of this, and I just joined team A for round I in late Feb/early March, I'd rather get a few rounds under my belt and learn the whole process. Hope that's okay!

Yes, Zina, you need to sign up again - for several reasons. Here are just a few:
• There are too many people who have dropped out, haven't signed up, or are NOT participating.

• There are over 240 people in Round I and it is too hard to track continuing participation in four large groups; we are making smaller Teams for Round II.

• Also, people are signing up for the challenge on the Home Page, so we are moving just the challenge "view books" ability to another "sister" group.

I think it goes back to when I signed up for Round I- the goal I was set at by the moderators was 345 (I think in sign up I said I was planning to read something like 360, but that would include novellas/short stories). My personal goal is 375. No typo. I'm just assuming now that y'all are counting my personal goal as the target for the challenge.
