I don't think I would be a great Team Captain since real life has been known to unexpectedly drag me offline for a day or two at a time :)

Sorry for the confusion, Teresa. Thank you for your post. I have made a few adjustments because of it.
This is the Second Round and will start soon after the First Round is finished. So, it is "in addition."
The Original Plan was to keep everyone on the same Teams. However, there are a handful of people who are NOT participating, for a variety of Real Life reasons. (Illness, new job, school pressures, technical difficulties, etc.) Some are just NOT communicating. They had a wide variety of reading goals, so that makes it difficult to balance the Teams fairly, if they suddenly decide to post their books. Then there are the people who have signed-up on their on, regardless of the stop signs. **shrugs** It happens.
I will try to put Teammates for Round II together with Teammates from Round I, but really it is going to be about balancing the numbers. Some people only committed to five books, some 500.
I have changed to the "NBRC: Tower Teams Read 2013, Round II" group's goal to read:
Second Round: Reading the SECOND 2,013 Books!Does that help clarify? I'll be glad to answer anymore questions.
Goal: The first Team to reach the second 2013 books read milestone, wins!

Nevertheless, you are welcome to look around now.

You will need to elect a Team Captain(s) whose duties include:
- Keeping a Google Spreadsheet that all members can view
- communicating with a NBRC Moderator
- communicating with all Team Members
- making sure Team Members are staying active
- notifying the NBRC Mod if someone drops out
- have effective and kind (this is a game, remember)
on-line communication skills to help members having trouble
- making sure Team Members belong on your team
- posting weekly status updates/reminders
- dealing with minor issues that arise
- post little challenges within challenges, if desired.
You may rotate/share these duties. We would suggest you have at least one Co-Captain.
You may have as many Captains and Co-Captains as you like.

Yes, very clear, thanks! I deleted my comment after I read the rules for round 1 and realized this would be an entirely new team thing. That's fine, I just panicked that I'd have to leave my beloved team in the next week or something, lol. Then I noticed that the teams haven't even reached 2000 books read and I relaxed, haha.
Love the look of the Round 2 team page, too! Those door pictures are great.
