"You know that feeling, when you are reading a book, and you know that it is going to be a tragedy; you can feel the cold and darkness coming, see the net drawing tight around the characters who live and breathe on the pages. But you are tied to the story as if being dragged behind a carriage and you cannot let go or turn the course aside. I feel now as if the same is happening, only not to characters on a page but to my own beloved friends and companions. I do not want to sit by while tragedy comes for us. I would turn it aside, only I struggle to discover how that might be done.
Wow, that's a..Amazing. I know what you mean! Every word there is almost overpowering and you feel the pull of the words and story to bring you in and see the world within it!
I'm reading Mystic and Lost Property!
I'm loving Mystic and right now, I hate Lost Property! Not my kind of book, it's suppose to be really good, due to getting an award, but not my taste. My school is making me read it. :(

How is it?
How is it?

Kate wrote: "I'm reading an experimental novel about the Winnipeg General Strike called Fox by Margaret Sweatman. I love the style, but I'm having some trouble getting into the characters."
How come?
How come?

What's it about?
What's it about?

I'm a huge fan of Star Wars and have never settled down to read any of the novels.
Big surprise to me how great this particular tale is!
