Rexcrisanto Delson | 1 comments I recently learned of crowdfunding campaigns such as Indiegogo and decided to give it a try to help cover expenses to have my book edited and such. I've noticed an increase number of campaigns (writing category) and have even contributed to other campaigns that caught my interest. I would be interested to get your feedback on this subject, and if possible, my campaign as well (http://igg.me/p/292546/x/1872374)

Matthew Williams (houseofwilliams) | 20 comments I think its a good idea. Lord knows editing is an expensive process and one of the biggest hurdles to indie writers. We can do it ourselves, but between the creative process and the need to publicize and promote, who has the time or the inclination? And as my friend, who's a musician, once said, "once I'm done creating it, I feel like my job is done". Being creative is an emotionally draining process, and editing, promoting and the rest on top of that are hard to do if you're doing it all by yourself.
