Matched

is divergent, matched or hunger games better?

how could you hate matched? :o
1) Divergent
2) Hunger Games
3) Matched
At first I liked Matched, but the next two books bored me out of my tree. I mean, I literally could not get past Chapter Two. It was so long and so arduous to read the first few paragraphs. It was going nowhere, there was no suspense, no surprises. The world Condie created was unique and I liked the new take on a futuristic dystopia, but it was too slow and too mellow for a teen dystopia-lover. If the characters were in their twenties or thirties, it would be a good book for adults. I was at the shops, and, curious about what adults like to read, I wandered to their section and discovered most of the ones written by women are either extremely sexual or extremely fluffy. You know, fluffy, like sitting on a cloud with a head filled with air and a wedding approaching. They all looked incredibly boring. But the male writers have some great ideas, I'm talking about Dan Brown and Bryce Courtenay and all them. But, like I say, if the storyline of Matched was incorporated into characters several years--decades--older, it would be a good book for adult readers. Just my opinion :)

HAHA KEEP CALM AND TAKE THE GREEN PILL LOL"
Thanks! just finished the matched trilogy LUVED IT

For Matched, is it just me or something cuz it bores me. And there was a love triangle but it was so damn predictable. Oh, and Xan and Ky reminds me so much of Peeta and Gale.
And for THG, oh well, Peeta increased the likelihood of being Katniss' partner. So, yeah, though there was still a love triangle. It wasn't that predictable, I guess? So, THG?

3- "Matched" The writing was poetic and I enjoyed it! The story line lacked a bit for me and the pace was slow not in my taste to like. The theme is pretty interesting to learn about, the characters are likable? I have mixed feelings about them since I don't necessarily hate them nor simply adore them.
2- "Divergent" I really enjoyed both of the books. So many twists and turns! The writing was a bit too simplistic for my enjoyment but the character development and pace was just awesome! I would have placed this series as my first choice but it still lacks its last book so I can't give it an overall evaluation.
1- "The Hunger Games" This trilogy literally has everything I enjoy out of the dystopian genre! A futuristic society planning for a rebellion, a taste of romance, very likable characters, climaxes in almost every chapter...point is it was a very hard series to put down for necessary things like eating, bathroom, and sleeping *lol* Definite my #1 choice (for now)

i've read Matched, don't really like it. i mean, it was okay, but if you give me the book again i wouldn't bother reading it. not worth the time :/

Matched was just ew. So was Crossed and I hated Reached. Sorry.

i agree 100%

I'm guessing because of the last book "Mockingjay"?

You know what, I just didn't like the characters in the series at ALL. and I hated how ALL the characters got progressively worse as the series went on. Yes, I hated Mockingjay. because All Katniss could do was cry, I don't remember what Gale did, and seriously, Peeta, why?
But honestly, I didn't like any of the three main characters even in the first book.

Finally! Someone thinks Matched is better than THG!

that does not make sense to me because matched mas nothing like hunger games

2.Hunger games
3. Matched
I loved all of the divergent books so that's why divergent is first. Huger games is second because mockingjay was such a disappointment. And lastly, I enjoyed the matched series but...it wasn't really mind-blowing for me.
