This one was betting then the last book. I loved the ending much better. To be this was better put together. I fall more in love with the characters with each book. I can't wait to read the next book in the series. I don't know how much longer I can wait.

Gisbelle Sorry guys! I won't finish my book till tomorrow.

message 208: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) Me, either. I got distracted by pirates.

message 209: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) I love The Voice!! Totally enthralled with it this year with Usher and Shakira. And Adam and Blake!!! One of my daughters is majoring in Music performance at school and I love hearing the stories.

message 210: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle I am distracted by a few other books, which I cannot use for this challenge since they wouldn't earn our team many points. I hope to finish 2 of them today. Then I will be able to stay focused on Fools Rush in.

This is a re-read for me, though it's been awhile. And I have to say it got better the second time around. Love the characters, love the storyline and the action. Really good, sexy, romantic suspense.

message 214: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle Me too. Only about 100 pages left.

message 215: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) Ugh I was hoping to listen to it this morning while at work since I'm normally alone on Fridays for most of the day. I knew one guy would be working in the back but he usually has big headphones on and reads while monitoring one of the metal presses punch out parts.

But.., I had a customer show up to pick up their order and their car has died. He's hanging out by his car waiting for a tow truck but I can't put headphones on until he's gone.

message 217: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) This one's going to be tough. I found one for setting + plot. But that's all.

message 218: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) Well, I think my plot matches. It's humor/romance set in Colorado. I guess I should check first.

message 219: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle I haven't looked around for the book yet. Still trying to finish my book for the week.

message 220: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) What book is it? I have some set in Colorado but they're mostly Western romances.

So far I have nothing but either year or setting. Nothing with both or anything else.

message 221: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) Rock Chick (Rock Chick, #1) by Kristen Ashley is the one I'm thinking of. But all of Kristin Ashley's Dream Man series is set in Denver and it's very humorous and pretty wacky!

message 222: by Mary X (last edited Apr 05, 2013 11:32AM) (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) Accidental time travel and alien abduction and unplanned space travel have been approved as bizarre plots.

I wouldn't mind reading this again which is worth 11pts according to another team. But first I'm goign to check out if any of the other books in the series work for this. I have a couple at home.

Thirty Nights with a Highland Husband (Daughters of the Glen, #1) by Melissa Mayhue

message 226: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) I will be reading Rock Chick (Rock Chick, #1) by Kristen Ashley It will count for Setting+Plot+ (possibly)cover.
Good luck everyone on finding a book. This week was tough. I say read what makes you happy and don't worry about points!!

message 227: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle :) Thanks Leslie. I am trying to ask around for a book set in Colorado. In case, I won't find anything interesting to read, I might settle for anything :)

message 228: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) Kristin Ashley books are the ones that come to mind. I've just discovered her and love them. Pretty wacky and sexy at the same time!

message 229: by Mary X (last edited Apr 06, 2013 03:48PM) (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) OK I found a cheap ebook that I can also use for the RT Authors Challenge, Level 3 (I just finished level 2). It has Setting and cover and I think plot. I think if they approved getting caught in a snowstorm with a vampire they should approve buying a man about to be hung so he can father your child as "bizarre".

Terms of Love by Shirl Henke (ok the cover on Amazon shows a cowboy and then mountains in the back but it's not coming up here.

Setting: Massachusetts: 6pts

I've had this on my IPOD for like 2 years now. It's was pretty good. The narrator was good. I wished the paranormal stuff had started earlier. The whole "Connie in a library reading an old book, catalog or library records" thing got boring pretty quick. I also didn't get why, after finding that key in her grandmother's house, that set her off on finding the book, she didn't look at her grandmother's house for a long time after. I'm not a grad-student or even a college graduate but even I would have known to search Grana's house for more clues. But it was an entertaining audiobook.

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) Yeah my book was approved for cover and plot:

message 232: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle I think I'll read Unmaking Hunter Kennedy by Anne Eliot

Cover: Mountain (2pt)
Setting: Colorado (6pt)

I'll check with the mods if Kennedy is acceptable.

message 233: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle So Kennedy is not ok :) I'll look around and see what else I can use, but if not I'll read this book.

Review
Wow, what a crazy, sexy ride. This is my second Kristen Ashley book and like the other it features an alpha guy and an independent, slightly nuts heroine. This one has a pretty wacky plot, lots of great side characters and underneath it all a very sweet love story. My lack of a 1/2 star is because Indy, our intrepid heroine, gets a little annoying on occasion. But she's still someone you would want to have as a friend.

I will get shelf, plot, cover, and setting

message 237: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) I think my daughter re-reads that series at least once every summer. She is 24 now and has been reading it since 3rd grade. Have fun!!

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter, #1) by J.K. Rowling

I remember reading this. I didn't want to read at first but mom made me. I had a hard time reading it cause of being dyslectic. But this time around I had a great time reading it. I am so glad I picked it up again. I am going to reread the whole series.

Hey team
Leslie emailed me and said she missing in action next week and possibly the next. I am asking y'all if y'all to find another player or keep Leslie? Keep in mind we only have three more weeks. I think it would be fine with keeping Leslie

message 242: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) I should clarify what Lizz has said. I will possibly be missing in action. There's no way to know at this point.

message 243: by Gisbelle (last edited Apr 10, 2013 05:02PM) (new)

Gisbelle It's ok with me to keep Leslie. Regard the points, maybe someone can read 2 books instead of one.

message 244: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) I don't think we have a shot at winning at this point anyway so whatever Leslie wants to do is fine.

I will leave up to Leslie

message 246: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) I would love to stick around and hope for the best if that's okay. If it seems to be a problem, I will let y'all know. I'm going to try and get my reading done for this week on Sat or Sunday but not sure if it will happen. Thanks for understanding!

message 247: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) Oh and my book turned out to have 16 pts instead of 11 because there was a major character named Kyle in it so woop woop!
