I did "borrow" the pie cover task idea from someone in the task suggestions post. So thank you to our fellow idea suggester!

Sam, be careful of "part 1" books- From the rules, "All elements of books separated into multiple audio or paperback parts (often identified as “Part 1”, “Part 2”, etc.) must be read. " A Storm of Swords is the complete book

Sam, we had to tweak the task description just a little bit with your book example due to the discrepancy btwn GR pagecounts and other online sources. It was hard to get my brain going this early on a lazy Sunday morning, but you definitely help make it a little clearer for everyone else. As Dlmrose mentioned, the total of the two books might not fit the pagecount option, so you might want to check it again.

I had totally missed that in the rules. I don't think I have ever come across books in 2 parts before this one.I think with both parts it still works. The copies of the book I have between them have 1194 pages. Which is ok for option 1 isn't it?

Option 1 - Pi Day: Read a book whose page count include digits from the first 10 digits of pi (3.141592653). The digits can only be repeated as many times as it is repeated in the first ten digits of pi (i.e. you can read a book with 411 pages but not 441 pages).
Required: Required: State the number of pages in your book when your post. Readers of alternative formats (ebooks, audiobooks, and large print books) must link to the mass market paperback or other edition used to establish number of pages. See Book Formats and Page Numbers Explained in Rules of the Challenge
Option 2 - PiE Day: Read a book with an image of a pie (sweet or savory) on the cover, either the whole pie or a slice, as shown in the examples.

Option 3 - White Day: Pi Day is also White Day in Japan and other Asian countries, which is exactly one month after Valentine's Day. On White Day, any male who received a special chocolate on V-Day must reciprocate the favor, usually their significant other. In celebration of love in March, read a book with "romance" as a main genre.
