I heartily wish I didn't have to meet Aves tomorrow in La Jolla (where it will be sunny and 60 degrees). I mean really, the agony of watching the waves break on the beach while we eat (what do ballet dancers eat anyway?) and drink, while basking in the sun....photos will be posted.

I am gurrundered to mention that it is quite obvious that ballet dancers eat the same thing that passenger jet pilots do: candy. Or so Aves has led us to believe specifically Smarties and Canadian Cadbury chocolate bars.

I wish I didn't have to live far from Roger. I would pay for the ingredients and he could cook for me.
I wish I didnt need to Iron my trousers can we not all just accept creased clothes as a new fashion statement!
I wish I didn't have to bear those relatives of mine. My rather inconsiderate aunt took my late mother's belongings more than my brother showed her. Even the ones my brother spared for himself as a memoir. What makes it worse is that she will probably "donate" them to ultra-religious people with whom her daughter is friends. My mum HATED those people.
I don't mind going to the grocery store but I wish I didn't have to carry the bags afterwards and then unpack them to put the stuff away.
Anil wrote: "I wish I didn't have to live far from Roger. I would pay for the ingredients and he could cook for me."I wish I could find the ingredients to cook something for you…
Lucas wrote: "I don't mind going to the grocery store but I wish I didn't have to carry the bags afterwards and then unpack them to put the stuff away."I wish Lucas had someone who really cared for him enough to carry the bags afterward and then pack them to put the stuff away… wait a mo, he does have such person, so what's he moaning about?
I wish I didn't have to wonder why more people don't post to this topic.
I wish I didn't have to feel guilty for not posting here, and I really wish I didn't have to substitute jelly beans for the chocolate that should be handy at all times.
I wish I didn't to do hard drive backups on two computers.
I wish I had a garden like Jerry instead of a just sidewalk (for our UK members by sidewalk I mean pavement.)
I wish I didnt have to go into central London today all for the sake of filling in forms to check my background and make sure I am not a criminal/danger to the public. I know this needs to be done and I am not the only one having to do this but it is still tiresome.
Ijeoma wrote: "I wish I didnt have to go into central London today all for the sake of filling in forms to check my background and make sure I am not a criminal/danger to the public. I know this needs to be done ..."My husband has to deal with that every year in Venice, where he works (take the bus/train to Questura in Mestre and wait for four hours until his scheduled for 9am or whenever appointment. We commiserate vicariously!
I wish I didn't have to do my husband's expense reports for his work. Well, I don't really HAVE to but if I want to be able to pay the credit card bill I do because they don't have a secretary to do it and he is so busy he can't even eat lunch most days let alone do an expense report.

I wish I understood this better. It must be a terrible commute from Berlin to Venice every day.

Lucas wrote: "I wish I understood this better. It must be a terrible commute from Berlin to Venice every day. "Backbreaking. I wish I didn't have to fear more and more for the admissions standards of American postgraduate programs.
I wish I didn't have to "help" hubby with the car. I have no idea what he is talking about as he works on them. To top it off it's suppose to be in the 90's way to hot:(

Don't worry big G. If they took me they'll take anybody.

Hey in My Summer of Wes the lovers can't get enough of each other and love working on cars together.
Well of course they were both guys and they were just kids and it wasn't 90ºF and it was just fictional but other that that... naw, never mind I guess it really sucks you have to do that.
Sorry Tj.

Lucas wrote: "Don't worry big G. If they took me they'll take anybody."I know you know that was my point, but I thought I'd make it again anyway. "That was actually my point. Commuting between Berlin and Venice. Pfft." There.
(actually and ironically, if they paid him enough, he really could and it probably wouldn't take much longer than his current commute between Venice and Treviso. Equally ironically and totally off topic, it is cheaper to fly from Venice to Rome via Frankfurt than direct.)
I wish I didn't have to deal with 20+ degree temp changes in a less than 8 hour time span. Going outside at 30 degrees first thing in the morning, spending all day inside, only to find it is almost 55 when I leave. I wish it would make up its mind already.
I wish I didnt have to go to bed but I am beginning to feel so sleepy. I want to read and not sleep.
I wish I didn't have to complain.
Lucas wrote: "I wish I didn't have to complain."Then you would do exactly what Garfield does in this cartoon:

I wish I didn't have to go to a relatives wedding yesterday instead of working out with the guys at the gym and then watching college basketball with a box of Samoas.
I wish I didn't have to feel like checking every comments made on my two fave GR groups. I could read faster.
I wish I didn't know that Anil doesn't consider the Complaint Department to be his favorite GR group :-)
I wish I didn't have a husband who insists on sleeping with the windows open when it's 45 degrees outside.

Yikes! I heard of fresh air but that's ridiculous~! Snuggle close to keep warm :-)

Laura wrote " I wish I didn't have a husband who insists on sleeping with the windows open when it's 45 degrees outside. Laura, I think he's trying to freeze you so that you'll cuddle up next to him ; )
wish I didn't have to get a flixster account AND an Ultra Violet account in order to enjoy my Harry Potter "digital" library. Now, I gotta maintain a flixster account and Ultra Violet account and an iTunes account in order to keep track of our digital movies. This kicks rocks.
I wish I didn't have to find a thoracic pain specialist because my shoulder injury got worse instead of better.
I hate finding doctors too so I'm very empathetic to Hilary's mission to find a thoracic pain specialists.
I wish I did not have to mow the overgrown lawn with bag on the mower to catch clippings because it is so overgrown I'll have to change the bag every 30 ft. And then I hate trying to get the grass clippings into the paper bag because that's so hard to do without it spilling out.
I wish I didn't have to hear that, Preston, because it makes me all too aware that my front lawn is overgrown and full of two-foot high daisies too. One unkind [deleted user] google-mapped it once and wondered what I was complaining about when said front lawn "is a postage stamp".
I wish I didn't have to worry about Roger's "postage stamp" lawn getting mowed while he and Oliver are on vacation.
Roger wrote: "I can hear the grass growing..."That's because it's so quiet here in the Complaint Department.
Festa music is driving us crazy here, but Quinta employees are arriving for a swim and lunch, so it's getting even noisier.
Roger wrote: "Festa music is driving us crazy here, but Quinta employees are arriving for a swim and lunch, so it's getting even noisier."…yes but a nicer view ;-)
I wish Julianna went to a school that made learning so much fun that she would look forward to going to school.
