Ji Mei (jimei) | 207 comments Quietly, Meredith tiptoed into the library. She felt herself relax the minute she was surrounded by the towering bookshelves and the smell of paper filled the air. Lazily running her fingers along the spines of books, she went over to her favorite sitting area in a corner and folded into a nicely cushioned chair.

((I was wondering if the king would try to limit the access of the citizens to the library--communist style. Can't know of other cultures and what it's like there. Religion and arts --sometimes harshly--discouraged...That seemed to fit to me. What do you think?))

Ji Mei (jimei) | 207 comments ((Yep, he definitely would. I think that would create even more tension among the people and that makes it worse, I think, if any child who is supposed to test for magic do not know the full knowledge from the library. And by the way, Meredith is a noble.))

((So you're saying nobles could slip in, unaccosted?))

Ji Mei (jimei) | 207 comments ((I suppose. I thought nobles would be educated. Unless there's restricted section only for those the king trusts and the rest is 'common knowledge'. The common knowledge could be made up explanations, or propaganda. ))

((They would be educated, I was merely pointing out that libraries in general might be banned. Continue on with your charrie, lol, sorry. :P))
