Problems with downloading Free Friday book

I seem to be having an issue with my Nook. I tried to download the Free Friday book. My nook says Network Unavailable when I try to update B&N content. I am able to pull up the shop so I don't think it is a network issue. Is anyone else having problems? The only time I have had issues with the nook has been when B&N has glitches.

I purchased 3 books that have yet to download. I called customer service and was told that its a problem with B&N's server.

Oh, I meant to say that I purchased the nook books yesterday. It's going on 16hrs since I bought them.

I also checked the B&N tech board and they did mention that is a B&N issue. I will side load books until it gets fixed. I have a 1st Edition nook so I kind of get a tad nervous when it acts up. I am trying to use it until it dies.

I had no problems with downloading the free Friday book... but then it was early in the morning. That was the only thing I downloaded. I rarely have a trouble downloading , however, my Nook tends to shut off by itself. I have a Nook tablet

I had issues with the B&N site Thursday night or Friday night(I can't remember which) and kept getting an error message about it timing out when I tried to order a book.

Hmmm...I downloaded The Taken without a problem. Not sure if it makes a difference, but I have a Nook HD.

I was just reading the BN FB page and their feed was saying how the first generation Nooks were the ones having the problems, but now are all resolved.

really @mary lol i look at my nook store everyday... you never know what deals are going to be for that day... like one time i got beautiful disaster for $.99!!! score!!! lol
