Harris Tobias (harristobias) | 4 comments Picture books may never be the same. Now there is a way to link the printed page to the internet. The link is the QR Code--those little boxes filled with black and white squares that are popping up all over. Those coded boxes can contain text and links to speech, movies and anything the Internet has to offer. Check out my book Five Little Froggies in QR Code for a glimpse of the future.

I definitely think there is a place for bringing technology into reading for children of new generations - anything to get them interested in books!

I became a mum last year and whilst with babies and toddlers it's very important developmentally for them to touch 'real' books, especially those with different textures and pop ups etc, I have seen my little one enjoying interactive ebooks too. I think variety is a great thing.
