Picture books may never be the same. Now there is a way to link the printed page to the internet. The link is the QR Code--those little boxes filled with black and white squares that are popping up all over. I definitely think there is a place for bringing technology into reading for children of new generations - anything to get them interested in books!

I became a mum last year and whilst with babies and toddlers it's very important developmentally for them to touch 'real' books, especially those with different textures and pop ups etc, I have seen my little one enjoying interactive ebooks too. I think variety is a great thing.
