She ignored him, singing and playing louder, her eyes tightly shut.
Dante stepped back and then got his pen out, he drew a pentagram on Marie's door and did a spell to make the door see through from his point and her point. "Oh Marie, did you take lessons?", Dante said, making small talk.
She rolled her eyes, stopping playing and stared at him. " go away"
Dante leaned against the door frame and said," You know I cant do that, Im under orders to retrieve you any way possible. So Im not leaving". Dante sat down at and Skyler sat lay down next to him.
"Fine. You'll be there a while" she smirked. ((Does he not know what she is, but had just been told to get her? ))
(( He doesnt know but hes guessing and trying to. Hes on the edge of figuring it out))Dante stroked Skyler and said nonchalantly," Okay, we dont mind that. I dont sleep much anyway". He laughed slightly and then stroked Skyler some more as she purred.
She sighed, going into the bathroom where he couldn't see her, se clenched her jaw and sat on the floor. ((Okay and brb))
Dante heard her go somewhere else but didnt bother to look, he sat there with Skyler and stroked her. He watched the passing people give Skyler a weird, frightened look. Which was funny because they were supernatural creatures for christ sake.((ok))
((Back!))She sighed, resting against the bathroom door and her head against the cold marble wall.
Dante groaned and moaned and sighed, making it obvious he was getting bored. But he wouldn't give up! "I'm still here, if you didn't notice or hear", Dante reminded Marie. "And I'm still not going to hurt you".
"Yeah right" she mumbled to herself sarcastically, she was bored too, and felt etta her homesick even though she was in her room. She wanted to be outside on the sunshine.
Dante placed his head on the door frame and asked," Seriously? What is it going to take for you to understand I'm not going to harm you?". Skylar looked up slowly and then placed her head back down. ((Got to go))
"I've learnt never to trust a deamon" she answered with a sigh. ((Me too!!))
Dante lifted his head slightly and asked softly,"Why? What happened?". He honestly was going to wait as long as he could. He wasn't going to hurt her.
"In my 268 years I've been chased most my life. "
She answered, coming out the bathroom and sitting on her bed.
Dante sighed and looked at her," Because you're special. Right? Your one of a kind. And your kind are dying out very easily".
Dante looked at her differently, it must be hard knowing that you were a dying bread and that you were wanted. "You know, the place I would take you wouldn't be harmful. We actually want to help".
She shook her head. "I'm not going to believe you"
Dante just nodded and sighed," You keep doing that". Skylar placed her head in his lap and he continued to stroke her softly.
"What's her name?" She said softly, talking about the panther, it was cute.
Dante looked up from stroking Skylar and said softly," Her name is Skyler". Then Dante looked down at his panther and said," Say hello". Then Skyler lifted her head and purred slightly.
She smiled softly. "Hey" she replied, she lived animals, all animals. She ran her finger along the floor, Daisy's started to appear there.
Dante saw what she was doing. He grinned as he looked at where she had grown the plants."Daisy's ", he said softly, with a gently chuckle. Then he looked at her and said," You're something else".
She raised an eyebrow, she had kind if forgotten he was there, sometimes Marie just blanks out and thinks she's in her own little world.
Dante sighed heavily but kept staring at the Daisy's. They had a significant meaning to him. Then he placed his hand on Skylers head and ran it down her smooth, light body as she purred.
Again, as if Marie was in her own little world she started to make daisy chains.
Dante smiled and watched her, he leaned against the door frame and said softly," My sister used to make those".
She snapped out of it again. "Oh. She still alive?" She had noticed he had said 'used too'.
Dante nodded," Yeah, you could say that". She was alive, but she might as well be dead. Skylar purred again and rubbed her head against his legs.
She didn't really know what he meant so she just nodded, "Kay" she sighed, she made more Daisy's appear.
Dante softly banged his head against the door frame over and over," Marie? You are literally killing me right now". Why couldn't she just trust him?((Got to go))
she sighed, looking up at him. "I told you. I'm not going with you. "
Dante sighed," And I told you, I'm not leaving". He surely wasn't. "You want to endanger yourself. Sure go ahead".
Dante laughed," Evidently you can't. Do you know how easy it was able to kill you when you was out and wandering around?".
She furrowed her eyebrows, he seemed rather mean. "You haven't seen me try to protect myself"
Dante smiled at her and shook his head," I have. You're protecting yourself now". He stroked Skyler as she rubbed her head against his leg.
"Not really, I could probably make the earth swallow you up I I wanted"
Dante suddenly got really excited and said," That's awesome! What else can you do?". He was really interested to hear what she could do. He had been on these missions lots of times but never really had any delay.
She shrugged. "I haven't had a chance to explore my powers fully. " she liked it when he smiled though, it sent a nice aura around the room.
Dante looked at her, observing her silently and then said," Im sure you're going to be very powerful, and fierce. I can just imagine you being that type of person". And as he pictured her being surrounded by flames and saying a cheesy superhero line, he laughed.
Dante nodded with a laugh and then he coughed to cover up the laugh and nodded with a smile," Yeah, you do".
She rolled her eyes, smiling slightly herself, his smile was infectious. Her dimples showed strongly.
Dante looked at her as she smiled. He saw that she had dimples and without really knowing what he was saying said," You have dimples. They're cute".
She blushed her cute pink blush. "Thanks I guess" she smiled.
"Oh come on", he teased," Just let me in. I promise I won't hurt you. Besides we are partners now, you're going to have to let me in someday". And that day was going to be today.
