Cassie I picked this book up at Walmart this afternoon when I was just browsing--so excited to get this book, I love this series. It isn't supposed to be published officially until March 5th, I am not sure why it is out early, but yay!

Amber Albright do what !

Heather I picked it up from my library and devoured it the same day. Really enjoyed it.

Cassandra I loved it. But now I am in withdrawal, I want the next one.

Heather Lol me too. I wonder what trouble she'll get into next.

Paris (kerbytejas) not much from the Fae in this book - so maybe the next one will have more of them in it??

Heather Not much but we did hear from them and even tad made his apperance. It was sad about Peter. I was even surprised by Mercy/coyote power. Plus Wulfe's part. Overall liked the book and cannot wait to find out what else Briggs has up her sleeve.

agreed... like it much better then River Marked..Asil was a nice addition... crossover from Alpha & Omega

Heather Ohh I didnt know that. Im new to reading Briggs. I guess I better get started on her other books. Any suggestions on what to read first?

Cassandra You should read Alpha and omega by Patrica Briggs. It starts in a book called "on the prowl" which is an anthology which goes onto full books 1) Cry Wolf, 2) Hunting Ground, 3) Fair Game.

Heather I have to finish the 2 books I am reading first then I will start that series thank you.

Priya Harry I love the Mercy Thompson books but not such a fan of the Alpha & Omega series. I think the characters aren't as cool (except for Bran). Are Briggs' other books worth reading?

Karen I hope She writes another one quickly. I really enjoyed this book

Annie Just finished it, and loved it! Read it in 1 day...I cant wait for the next one!!!!

I really enjoyed an older two books by here that are being re-released, Wolfsbane (Sianim, #4 - Aralorn, #2) by Patricia Briggs and Masques (Sianim, #1) (Aralorn, #1) by Patricia Briggs . She is a great writer.

I love the Alpha and Omega series also, a bit more romantic than the Mercy Thompson series but completely different characters.

Thanks, will try them out next time I feel like reading another Briggs book :) I also saw on her website that she's written some short stories - need to check those out as well.

Val Johnson So am I in withdrawal, I guess we just eat up the books faster then she can write them. I don't know if you are familiar with Darynda Jones The Charlie Davidson series but it is really good also. The skin walker series by faith hunter is also a great read. That's just a few I read to keep me from thinking about when the next Mercy book is coming out.:)) Good Reading

i totally agree on the Bran thing!

Ashley I was very excited for this book, read it in less than 24 hours. I have to say I liked it much better than River Marked. I totally agree about the crossover b/t Alpha & Omega I like Asil Did miss Samuel tho. Waiting in anticipation for the next one!!!

Stephanie Bolen So much better than Rivermarked although her native american herritage needs to be explored again. And yes Mercy makes an otherwise okay world into a fun place to be. I love Jesse too. Briggs is getting back to what we loved so much in Moon Called, Adam is in trouble and Mercy has to save him.

That's one of the things I love about the books - more often than not Mercy is the one doing the saving instead of being saved:

Moon Called: Mercy saves Adam
Blood Bound: Mercy saves Adam, Samuel and Ben
Iron Kissed: she's helping Zee so technically she's saving him
Bone Crossed: she saves herself
Silver Borne: she saves Finn and Gabriel
River Marked: she saves Coyote, Hawk etc.

Conclusion: Mercy is awesome.

Nadya i didnt know it was out that early. i read it a few weeks ago, as usual was really good reading mercy books :)

yeah. i like all the books, i found river marked to be a bit different cos it was more about mercys heritage than the way the other books go. and couldn't help picture the river monster as the alien/worm thing at the end of men in black two :D
