Have you started it yet?
I just got started on it and I'm already hooked. It's definitely off to a good start! I'm in chapter 5 now, so I think I'll finish that and then go to sleep... it's already past 2am again. XD
How about you?
How about you?

I have 25min on the bus on my way to either university or work, so every bus ride is much appreciated reading time. :D

I've been neglecting this one a bit as well since I still have a bunch of books to read for the TCF Winter challenge. XD I managed another 5 chapters on the weekend and hope to get in a couple more today, though. :)

So I only made it to the end of chapter 18 so far because I keep having to put the book away for a while before I end up throwing my Kindle across the room in frustration. Gotta say, rarely has a character made me want to step into a book and strangle him with my bare hands as much as Mitch - he still drives me insane, even more so than in the first book.
I always pick it up again and continue, though, because the rest of the story is just too intriguing. We still don't know that much about the Clinic, but they have once again proven that they can't be trusted and will go to any lengths to get what they want.
The fusion of Eden's and Chastity's personalities is a fascinating development, though I hope we'll get some more details as to how that suddenly happened - was it a natural development due to her heritage, or did the Clinic have something to do with it?

Haven't heard from you in a while, how is it going? :)
I'm not gonna write anything about how the story continues for now, since I don't know how far you've gotten, but just wanted to let you know I'm at chapter 25 now and will probably finish the book on the weekend. Looking forward to discussing some more with you! :)

No worries! :) Yep, train journeys are great for getting some reading done - and we can talk about it on Monday then. :)

Wherever you want I guess! Just throw in whatever comes to mind. :)
For instance, I don't buy for a second that the Clinic is actually working on a cure for the Jekyll/Hyde thing - what do you think they're really doing, especially with the breeding thing? I think they've proven once and for all that they can't be trusted at all, and most of the people we've met so far that are working for them don't even seem to know what's really going on there.

I'm not sure about Fields and Alex, they seem to come across as a bit naive or really really sneaky!
I hope Mitch comes back to the human side but I also hopes he 'mans up' and stops being the pathetic specimen he was!! If that makes sense!
I totally see what you mean regarding Mitch - the man has the emotional maturity of your average 3-year-old, what with the tantrums and "la-la-la, I don't wanna listen to you" mentality.
Seems to me like it's more naive than sneaky with both Alex and Fields - and also like maybe they're thinking that as long as they just follow orders and don't question or start thinking too hard, they're not responsible for what's going on.

What do you think about Eden? I'm not sure if she irritates me or not, she's a lot less weak and watery but she's still really naive!
Oh, Eden... *sigh* She was definitely less irritating than in the first book (I guess the Chastity half gave her some spine), and in a few scenes I was really cheering for her (her crappy taste in men aside) - but then she goes and does such utterly naive and stupid things as walking back into the Clinic alone. I mean, WTF? And the constant whining about Mitch was really grating on my nerves - just face it, girl: he's not worth it.
On the positive side, I really liked Landon. Finally a character in this series with some common sense. XD

And I know, she's also admitted there was a 'pull' with the other Hydes she's come across, accept that's the problem with Mitch and move on, or at least stop complaining and do something about it.
Landon was good. Someone with a spine, some common sense and some semi decent morals. And a back story that explains what's in it for him. I really hope he doesn't turn out to work for the Clinic in the third book...
I sure hope not! The possibility did occur to me at least earlier in the book, but after a while of seeing more of his character and his interactions with Mitch and Eden I sort of dismissed it. I mean, you can't have *everyone* except Eden and Mitch turn out to be working for the sinister organisation of villains... can you?
So the next book is supposed to be released in June? Wanna team up for that as well? :)

Definitely, it's the ideal series for discussing, isn't it :)
I wonder who the voice on the end of the telephone will turn out to be...
That it is!
A very good question. I wonder if we'll find out in the next book or if there'll be more to come!
