I absolutely loved this book. This love story was so unique and refreshing to read. There was heartbreak, survival, war, love, and acceptence. To me, it was a perfect love story. Made me a fan of the author for sure!
“You are so beautiful. Do you know that?”“I know that men think – ““Man. One man. Me. I’m all that matters. No one else can have you. You’re mine.” -HunterThere is something about a tough, protective man that would move heaven and earth to protect the women he loves that makes my heart swoon. This is such a sweet romantic story, with an original plot and loveable characters about the power of love.
I was instantly taken with Rania and Hunter. They may be "damaged goods," so to speak, but they are strong and amazing characters. Their chemistry is ridiculously good and intense. This book brought so much more to world of literature. It is a breath of fresh air. Jasinda Wilder wrote a book about heartache, desires, and hope. I give this book 5 stars!
This story was completely unexpected and exactly what I needed for my reading slump. It wasn't a book tied in a pretty bow; it was so much more than that. It was raw and dirty and showed a different side of war, the side few of us truly know. This book was completely origninal and my only wish for the book was for more!
