⚜️XAR the Bookwyrm (xar-the-bookwyrm) How about Gone to Green by Judy Christie? Pretty sure this is the first book in that series.

Hart's Truth by Kelly Long

Pretty sure this is the same book I bought, but the cover is different. It's $2.99 for Kindle.

Oops, the theme for this month is historical. Would you like to name another selection?

I just started this before going to bed on Sunday and finished it yesterday. I did not realize it was a short story. Really quick read. There's only 9 chapters.

That's good to hear -- I'm so far behind on my challenge, a short one is just what I need! Did you like it?

I did enjoy the story but it is so short and things move faster than I thought they would, but I guess that has to happen in a short story. I'm reading Goodbye to Yesterday by Wanda E. Brunstetter. It is really short too, if you are looking for a short book. I started this morning and read 50% in about 1 hour in bed on a snowy morning. Really enjoyed the story too.
