~Caroline and Niran :D~

"Hey, are you okay? About Shane?", Dante asked softly.
Layla dragged Nathan out from the library and kept dragging him until she found a little restaurant on the same street. She then let go of his hand and said," Sit". He needed someone strong right now, not someone soft.

He laughed gently at her boldness. He appreciated that she understood. Nathan sat slowly with a deep sigh.

Layla smiled softly and sat next to him. She looked at him and said,"We should get something to eat before we start discussing what's wrong with you". A waiter came and introduced herself, her name was Kaylie. She asked what they wanted.
"Lasagna please, with some water", Layla said.

He nodded at her comment and then addressed to the waitress,"A Reuben sandwich please and water as well." Nathan smiled weakly and then looked away.

Layla smiled at the waitress as she took the menus and went away with their orders. She turned to look at Nathan, although he was looking away. She sighed and demanded," What happened?".

Nathan sighed gently and looked up at the ceiling before looking back down."My fiancée, she ch-cheated." He said in a soft, mad and hurt tone. He only said that, as if it was painful to move on talking.

Layla looked him with shock, her eyes slightly wide. Then she clenched her jaw and said," Im sorry, Nathan", she said it soft and gentle.
She didnt think that something like this would happen, when he last spoke about her he made it seem like they were so desperately in love.

He nodded softly, and twisted his lips a bit. "Yeah, well... The marriage is off." Nathan said softly, a hurt expression written on him.
((I will have short replies sorry...))

Layla couldn't help but feel sympathy towards Nathan. She didnt know what to do though, tell him it was okay? Tell him not to bother getting caught up with the stupid girl?
She just grabbed his hand from the table and concealed it with both of hers.

He smiled again weakly and took in a deep breath

"Renee", he said.
Layla smiled at him softly and asked hesitantly," Did you find out who it was she was cheating with?". She didnt mean to be harsh or abrupt maybe it came out that way.

He coughed."My boss.. Im out of work now." Nathan said his eyes dropping to the floor.

" I always have, the first day we met I knew you would be more than just a friend", Dante said softly.
Layla's lips parted and her eyes widened slightly, she brushed her hand across her face and then said," Wow, so they're both ass holes".

Nathan allowed himself to let out a breathy laugh."Its been hard. But ill find my way... I should've never introduced them." He shook his head.

Layla shook her head and her eyebrows came together slightly," Hey, don't blame yourself for what THEY did, understand?". It was their fault, not his.

He looked away and took in a sharp breath."It just makes me wonder what I did wrong." Nathan shook his head and put his head in his hands after.

Layla shook her head and grabbed his hand, placing it in both of hers. "No", she said as she shook her head," Its not your fault at all, don't let anyone, even her, make you think that".

He sighed."It's just... I guess people like to find a blame for things when things happen badly," Nathan shrugged half-heartedly

"How could we not have known?", he asked.
Layla sighed and leaned back in her chair, eventually the waitress came back with their orders and gave them to them. Layla smiled and looked down at her lasagna. She looked back at Nathan and said," I know I'm talking crap when I say that everything will be okay, but I mean it when I say it isn't your fault".

He nodded softly and looked at his meal. He didn't really feel hungry anymore."I do appreciate this." Nathan sipped some water then rubbed his forehead

Layla ate her lasagna slowly, and then watched as Nathan drank his water but didnt touch his food. Layla sighed and looked at him softly," Hey, Nathan", she looked down and then continued," You know it's her lose, not yours".

He looked up into her eyes, seeing how sincere she was."Thank you." Nathan struggled a smile. It was hard for him to believe anything now. He managed to a eat a few fries slowly, but wasn't hungry still.

Layla gulped slightly and then looked away as she nodded with a smile. She had eaten most of the lasagna, but she could see Nathan had barely touched his food. She got up and placed her hands on her hips," Okay, you know what? Lets go out, lets do something to get your mind off of this".

He stood and gave her a funny look."Alright fine, fine." Nathan signed the bill check quickly before she could object.

--
"You-". Layla just took the bill and ripped it up,"you don't have to pay". Layla saw the waiter looking at them and Layla nodded to her. They knew Layla, the whole restaurant did. She grabbed Nathan's hand and dragged him along.

He raised his eyebrows then shrugged."Alright." Nathan then struggled to follow her out of the door.

Layla didnt wait for Nathan to say anything when she dragged him out of the restaurant. She looped her arm through his as they walked down the street to find something good, something exciting. "Gah! It's like this street was made for old people!", she exclaimed.

He smiled a bit, glancing at her. "Old people huh? I thought we were considered old?" Nathan loosened up a bit, and laughed softly.

Layla raised her eyebrows at him and smirked," My friend, we are young! And you know what that means?! We are frigging able to do as we please and no one can stop us!" . Layla bowed once she finished her little speech.

He laughed softly and clapped."Bravo!" Nathan shook his head."Fine fine... Well then, we'll go..." Nathan thought for a moment.

Layla smiled and then raised her eyebrows," Where to, Mr Nathan?". She shook her head at herself for sounding so stupid. She grinned at him and said," Shall we go to a bar? Get drunk and talk about cliche things". She placed her hands on her hips and laughed slightly.

He laughed,"Even though I have yesterday, sounds fun." Nathan shrugged and grinned.

Layla smiled and grabbed his hand," Lets do then!". She stuck out her hand just as she saw a taxi. It stopped and she got in," Where to,lady?", asked the driver. Layla grinned at the driver and said," Take us to the best night club in town".

Nathan hopped in, shutting door too in one movement. He grinned and settled back.

"You got it, miss", the taxi driver said. Layla grinned and said," Thanks". Then she looked back at Nathan and smirked, she moved her fingers together evilly and said," This is going to be fun".

Nathan smirked and nodded. He leaned back into his chair and sighed softly, still smiling.

Layla nodded and smiled, this was going to be fun. It was about 3pm, but that didnt matter, she would get drunk to see Nathan happy if that's what it took. The driver stopped and Layla payed him. She got out of the car to see a rocking bar. "Wow, this looks pretty cool", she said, looking up at the building with her hands on her hips.

He nodded, quickly stepping out by her. Nathan gave her a look for paying, but decided to drop it. He nudged her arm."Are we going to stand here all day?" He asked amused. "Or are we going to get drunk and be dirty little people?"

Layla looked at him with a mischievous look on her face, she rubbed her hands together like she had a master plan and then said passionately," We're going to get drunk and be dirty little people!". She grabbed his hand and then dragged him into the bar.

Nathan laughed and ran a hand thriugh his hair as he struggled to follow her.

"It's not a dream", he said softly,"It's real. All of it. Every emotion, every touch and everything you and I feel".
Layla couldn't believe she had never seen r heard of this bar. It was suave and very appealing. It had a theme of red, black, grey and white. Chairs, sofa's, tables, snooker tables, bars. They were all amazing !
Layla looked aside to her and asked Nathan," Have you ever seen anything likes this!?". She laughed and immediately wanted a drink.

He laughed and grinned at the sight of it."Never!" Nathan was getting thirsty fast.

Layla looked over at Nathan to see he was more shocked than she was. She laughed and then walked towards the actual bar.
"Four tequila shots, please", Layla asked the bar tender. He just nodded and got the drinks ready.

He sat by her, watching as the bar slowly filled up with people. He grinned and waited a bit for the drinks, and set the money out for them."My treat."

Layla looked at Nathan with her eyebrows raised," No! Your the one going through heartbreak. My job is to be the healer. So-", she pushed his money back in his direction," You keep it". She honestly did mind paying for anything, she got enough money anyway.

He nodded, trying to forget the while heartbreak part. Nathan shoved the money in his pocket, and poured a shot in his mouth with a smirk.

Suddenly someone knocked on the door and said," Hey! I've got more cookies!".
"Wait, Mom!", Dante said, he looked over at Renee and rolled his eyes playfully. He got up slowly and then opened the door to a smiling mother.
Layla raised her eyebrows at him downing the shot like their was no tomorrow, and the fact that he didnt even grimace or make a face when the shot was done. Layla shrugged and downed her drink too, putting her head back ad closing her eyes.

He coughed a bit, the burning now coming on. Nathan shrugged, hoping that this would maybe release somewhat of his pain.
Nate was stiff and still. He wasn't sure what to but follow her.
