Stephen (havan) | 32 comments Thomas Gray wrote a poem called Ode on the Death of a Favorite Cat, Drowned in a Tub of Gold Fishes.

Given the way that Sally and her brother's gold fish acts, I was wondering if Dr.Seuss ever said anything about the earlier poem.

Theodor Seuss Geisel, T.S. Eliot, Both TS's, both wrote a book about cats, (T.S. did that Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats) both lived in England for a time...

And Thomas Gray and Theodor Geisel share a monogram...

Hmmm, Where's a good conspiracy theorist when you need one?
