In the last couple of days, I've created a new list here on Goodreads, called Recommended Fiction by Christian Authors (www.goodreads.com/list/show/33227.Rec... ). This is a response to the running debates at the Best Christian Fiction list over what constitutes "Christian fiction." My list comes with a description that hopefully explains the purpose of the list and what sort of books belong on it.
Goodreads limits me to adding 100 books to any given list, and I've added nearly that many to the new one. (I still need to re-rank some of them on the list; at first, I concentrated mostly on getting them listed.) Obviously, there are vastly more worthy books written by Christian authors, both contemporary ones and writers of the past. Building a good bibliography of the Christian literary tradition in fiction will require input from a lot of people. So, if you'd like to add books to the list, or just check it out to see what books are on it and perhaps get reading suggestions, give it a look!
It's a great list Werner. I like the fact that there are many different types of books represented. I will have to look over my shelves and see if any of my books are ad-worthy.
