Apparently I'm under at least two Joy V. Smiths. (And is there a Joy Smith?) It might have to do with the ways I signed in and an email address that was picked up... Under one of my names I have no books and under the other, which I can't access, I have four. Help me escape from this alternate universe, please!

Joy,I only see one Joy V. Smith that has a user account attached to it. The other one had an erroneous comma which I fixed. Are the four books listed here yours:

If that list isn't correct please provide links to the books that are yours so that we can sort them correctly.
Assuming those books are correct, if you can't access them through your account, you'll have to contact Goodreads Support to get that sorted. You can use the contact us form and select "Author Program." Librarians don't have any control over accounts.
In the mean time though, if there are any updates you want to make to your books, don't hesitate to ask!

Your GR Author profile is an extra layer on top of your User Profile, the picture you see here is from your user profile. To add a picture to your Author profile you'll want to go to your profile page and click on "Edit Data" in the box at the top of the page with the About this Author section. From there you will be able to add a picture from the right hand column.

I found my friend (awaiting approval)on top of the page, and some day I may tackle giving away a free book. Thanks again, Vicky.
Ah, I see that The Doorway and Other Stories doesn't have a cover. Maybe I can get that fixed too? It's on Amazon.
Can't use covers from amazon or other booksellers. If you have a link to image on a non-bookseller site (publisher acceptable even if selling) or can upload to your photos, we can add.Or if in a file or you can scan to a file, as author you can load to your coverless book yourself - go to book page, "edit details" and in upper right corner click the "choose file", choose filename, hit the "upload" button just underneath. Books without covers, you can add. With covers, covers don't get changed (new editions made for new covers).

When looking at my books, upper right, you can search for books and add.If already there as "read" (or whatever) shelf, there"s an "edit" option next to books when viewing the "read" (or whatever) shelf. And up top a batch edit if you have a list of books you need to move around your shelves.
Or from the book page of shelved book between book description and reviews, "edit shelves" and add sf-favorites (can start typing "s f f a..." Search field and it will show up to check off).
Or if book never shelved as anything, go to the book page for edition you wish to shelve, find the green "Want to Read" button and click far right part showing books icon, select shelves you want book to be .

The first is an American author, the second an Italian historian.
Could anyone please separate the two?
