I'll be there! Now, I just have to catch up and read an Anne Bishop book.
I'll be there on Saturday :) Hubby and I are putting together our 'Comics to Hunt Down' list now cause thanks to him, we're both thoroughly re-addicted.I'm also really excited Felicia is one of the guests. Want to meet her and Peter Davidson if possible.
I need to get my comics organized again - I do mine through stashmycomics.com and then export the "have" and "want" files and like a big OCD dork run around with a binder and a pencil behind my ear. Luckily I have a trooper of a wife who will just stand there with her arms open to grab whatever I pull out of bins under a table! :) In return, I don't tell her "that sucks" to stuff she finds that "looks interesting". She'll figure it out eventually!
I really couldn't afford to go last year, and made the stipulation that if Felicia shows, I'd be there. But I think I'm lucking out, cause this year I can't wait to meet her and possibly get J Scott Campbell to sign my Gen13's from the beginning of that series.
Also, I'm hoping that since Peter Davidson is going to be there maybe he'd bring along his hottie daughter and son-in-law, Georgia Moffat and David Tennant. Too much to ask? Probably....but one can hope!
I didn't even think about using the Wish List feature in stashmycomics! That's better than the hand written list I have going right now.I've been trying to limit my 'that looks interesting' picks to ones that are in the cheap boxes. I managed to get some nice annuals and mini-series last 25 cent comic day so felt really pleased with myself.
Probably wishful thinking but it would be awesome. Just to see David Tennant would be a nice added bonus of the day :)

I'll be at C2E2 all 3 days I was planning on organizing a meetup (if no one else is planning to) -- maybe on Saturday afternoon? Unless Felicia organizes one herself, which would be fabulous!
I may/may not be volunteering on that day but I'm interested. No clue what day/time yet though. But I am there all three days. Also, I'll be at the Geeks OUT Mutant Prom at Spin on Belmont and Halsted Saturday night (8-12 I think?) if that sounds up anyones alley as well! What I'll be wearing has yet to be decided :)
I'm super mad that Felicia's panel on Friday is during the Comics and Beers one!! I'm super torn. I love Felicia, and comics AND beer!!
The Mutant Prom sounds fun! Ugh! The Felicia Day and Comics + Beer events also overlap the Chicago Nerds After Party on Friday night (here, if anyone's interested: http://www.chicagonerds.com/c2e2-afte...).
I'm helping with the party so I'm betting that means I'm not going to be able to make the Felicia Day panel. POOP!
I'm definitely interested in coming to a meet up, but I haven't even gotten tickets yet. Is it looking like the meet up will be on Saturday?
Anybody have any input on whether Saturday would be the best day? I know it's the busiest, but it's also the day that most people go if they're only doing one day.

I'm working in the tabletop gaming area most of the day. But I'll try to duck away for the meetup on Saturday!
Great idea! I'm in. I bought tickets for Saturday.
I emailed C2E2 to see if maybe there is an empty meeting room we could use, but at this late date I don't know that that will work out. Does anyone have a time preference? My thoughts for if we don't get a designated room:
We could try to do earlier, like 10 or 11am, meet at the Starbucks and then just find a place to talk (probably somewhere other than the Starbucks since it's usually crazy crowded).
We could do afternoon -- maybe around 4 or 5pm.
We could do evening, say 7 or 8pm and meet at the Hyatt McCormick M/X Bar.
I'm open, so let me know what you think!

I would say afternoon or evening too; Give us time to make the rounds and attend some of the events. If it's evening, would it be too much to hope that Felicia would join us for a drink?? =)
I'll be at the bar Friday, but Saturday night I'll be at Spin for Mutant Prom. If anyone's around Friday though hunt me out at the bar as I stalk people! :)
I'm working in the open gaming area on Saturday until 9, so I'd prefer Friday! Maybe we could head to the bar after Felicia's Q&A?
I've got the Chicago Nerds After Party on Friday, so I won't be able to do it that evening, but you guys could still do a meetup that night if works for more people. It looks like there's one vote for Saturday evening -- would anybody else be able to make that one?

I'll attempt to let Felicia know via social media, but I think she's signing all day on Saturday (until 7pm, I believe) so I don't know that she'll make it.

Looks like I might be there for a bit after all. Will probably be wearing my "You never forget your first Doctor" shirt. :) If Felicia makes it that would be awesome but of course you ladies are just as amazing as well. Can't wait to get this weekend started!!

Sigh. Flat tire. Literally. Managed to get there at 4 pm. The fates were conspiring against me this weekend, I swear.We did manage to enjoy the one hour we spent there though - the 4 year old was in super hero toy heaven.
I will keep an eye out for the next #VagFan meetup. Sigh.
Girls, it was a pleasure meeting you on Saturday. Sorry I could not stay long but I was glad I stopped by. C2E2 was so much fun and I can definitely see myself becomig a regular. I hope we can meetup again next year. Btw, thank you for the book suggestions. I've already purchased quite a few so I better get to em' :)

Sorry I missed you, and sorry about your flat tire, too -- that's lousy! Glad you got to enjoy a little bit of C2E2, though.
Since Jen and Diana, the two meetup regulars, couldn't make C2E2 we're having a second meeting at the Park Tavern this Saturday (4pm, 1645 W. Jackson). If you or anyone else is interested, please stop by.
We're going to be discussing future meetups, so if anybody has any time/date/location preferences, let me know. We've talked about making a regular day at Wanderer's Refuge in Lincoln Square, but I don't know if that's going to work or not.

In any case, just throwing it out there. My wife and I *should* be going all 3 days. They're still announcing guests and so far the line up looks like the best it's ever been.
Would love to meet some folks and possibly have a meet up with Felicia (and possibly any of the other three?).
