FS Meurinne Frontline by Alexandra Richland

TRY THIS NEW BOOK!!! IS A MUST READ!!!

When nurse Sara Peters treats celebrity billionaire Trenton Merrick for a mysterious injury to his forehead, she is blindsided by what follows: a passionate exchange in the examination room, followed by an invitation to Trenton's mansion the next night.

Trenton spins a web of deceit and seduction around Sara that both repels and attracts her. One part humanitarian, the other international financial mogul, his professional and public life are a curious contradiction. As Sara journeys deeper into her feelings for Trenton and begins unraveling the mystery behind his injury, she finds herself embroiled in a game of trust and betrayal, where the odds are stacked in Trenton's favor, and the outcome for the loser is too terrifying to conceive.

I will check those out, thank you. Actually I have not read the Gabriel series...I don't know why but the description didn't do anything for me...did you read/like them?

message 203: by J (new) - rated it 5 stars

J I really liked the Gabriel books (and another one is on the way the end of this year). They are written extremely well. He is a professor and she is a student which leads to many complications. The only fault I would have is that he is a professor specializing in Dante. There are many discussions about Dante's Inferno, about paintings based on Dante's work and all things Dante. I found a lot of the discussions fascinating but some of them were just over my less than cultural head. But, I did learn a lot. I really think you'll enjoy these books.

Trinesha I read the first book Gabriel's Inferno and I didn't like it. It was way too slow for me. I just kept waiting for something to happen and it seemed like such a small payoff for all that reading.

Some people love the series though. I like books where something interesting happens within the first 100 pages and I don't feel like I got that with this series. If the description is not making you interested, maybe try getting the free sample of the book on Amazon (or wherever you may buy your books).

Carol Meeting Mr Write trilogy is fantastic and the first book is free on Amazon x

Meeting Mr. Write

message 206: by Ocone0712 (new)

Ocone0712 I think it has been mentioned but the This Man trilogy by Jodie Ellen Maplas was amazing! The hero is extremely possessive and controlling (but I liked that about it) and cannot live without the heroine; he literally goes crazy and panics when he's not around her. But it is a really sweet love story (Jesse cares so much for Ava), very similar to Fifty, however, the writing style did take me a while to adapt to but once I got into it, it was FANTASTIC. The second and third books are Beneath this man and This man confessed. Definitely check them out if you're looking for an alpha hero and there isn't much BDSM (only a bit in the second and third) but, if I remember correctly, it's only a tiny bit.
Okay, I just had to share my love of this book, ramble over;)

Trinesha The Up In The Air series is $2.99 on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, etc... First book in the series is In Flight. Also, there is now going to be a fourth book in the series, Mr. Beautiful.

Michele Check out the Fixed series by Laurelin Paige a definite 5 star series.

D.A. Latham I loved the This Man trilogy, and also the Beautiful Bastard series. My trilogy, A Very Corporate Affair, and it's offshoot, The Taming of the Oligarch has a storyline based on two alpha males fighting over a girl. If you're into Alpha men, it may well be right up your street. No BDSM though.

Bkwrm I liked the black stone affair series by Raine Miller and the Inside Out series by lisa Renee jones
