CM Martin Terri I know what you mean I love to read books like this. Although some have hard romance in them and other more of just sex. The only thing that gets me upset is that I have to wait for the third or even the fourth part of series books to come out!! Fine put them out on different dates but keeps them close together not months apart! By the time the next book comes out it takes a while to remember where the last one finished. There are just too many books coming out taking too long.

Hi Maritza,
That's a good point, but as author's we have to research draft, edit, proofread and publish the book. If a book hasn't gone through that process, then it might not meet your expectations ... TouchStone for play comes out later this month and it's existed in my head for almost a year and, only now am I ready to publish. Unfortunately, the second book in the Story of Us trilogy won't be out until August because of going through the same procedure even though it's already half written. On behalf of all authors I apologise for making you wait but - isn't anything of value worth waiting for? Whilst you're between reads have a look at TouchStone for play: Ayden Stone will help you fill those bookless hours ... SJ

Josie For those who liked Bared to You, On Dublin Street, here is a better one: Trust A New Beginning. Trust A New Beginning (Trust #1) by Cristiane Serruya Trust: A New Beginning and the sequel is coming out on April 25th Trust Betrayed (Trust, #2) by Cristiane Serruya Trust: Betrayed.
HAWT reading! :D

Sydney Jamesson I'm in the process of final edit. Give me a fortnight and you'll be able to download TouchStone for play, from Amazon. Hoping to have cover reveal late next week and will include a synopsis with that - just to tease you a little. Thanks for waiting, you won't be disappointed. SJ

J Jessica: Claim Me is now also out. A really good read.

Also try Lockout by Maya Cross (#2 to come, not sure if there is a #3 or not). I respectfully disagree on Thoughtless, I barely got through it. Also, the "Flight" books. Nos. 1 & 2 were really good, thought #3 writing was terrible. But that's my own opinion. Finally, try Slow Seduction by Cecilia Tan, again with #2 on the way and don't know if there is anything beyond.Jessica wrote: "All of these books are a part of a series with serious alpha males

Clara Gabriel's Inferno series is a very much interesting books to read ;)

message 159: by Sydney (new) - rated it 4 stars

Sydney Jamesson Yes it is, especially as it is largely sensual rather than erotic. Sylvain Reynard crafts his prose with the skill of a time-served artist; each sentence lovingly sculpted and formed into words of love that melt the senses and nourish the soul. It makes a pleasant change from the rough and tumble of other, less refined novels. SR has been an inspiration to me and many other writers; my novel TouchStone for play combines eroticism, courtesy of Mr. Cross, with the sensual devotion of Professor Emerson: a powerful cocktail. I hope you have as much fun reading it as I have had writing it. Sydney Jamesson

Got to say these were my fav books of all time they really had a gripping storyline and actually made me cry which is very had to do.

message 165: by Sherry (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sherry Eyes Wide Open is a must read omg so glad I had day off!

Trinesha I read Naked by Raine Miller on the suggestion of someone here, and it fell a little bit flat for me. The timeline for book #1 was asinine and I got so pissed I started yelling at the book. All in, book #2 was better with good story line, but the verdicts out.

message 167: by J (new) - rated it 5 stars

J I just got Naked in the mail from Amazon. I had read that the Blackstone series was really good. I hope that's true.

message 168: by Tina (new) - rated it 4 stars

Tina This Man is an absolute favourite of mine that actually resembles the CG/GC type of character but much more INTENSE. The books by Kristen Ashley also have a lot of alpha heroes but the ones that are similar to CG/GC are Mystery Man,Motorcycle Man, and esp. Knight.
The 'Up in the air' series..'In Flight','Mile High' & 'Grounded' will also totally satisfy your CG/GC craze.
The 'Too far' series by Abbi Glines..Fallen Too Far.. also has an angst/troubled hero & good story/plot, so do give it a try.

message 169: by Tracy (new) - rated it 4 stars

Tracy i enjoyed reading:
Beautifully Damaged by L.A. Fiore
Fated by S.H. Kolee
Love Left Behind by S.H. Kolee
Tangled Beauty by K.L. Middleton
Blind Obsession by Ella Frank

:)

Hi Sydney, just started to read this book, I am a little concerned I don't know if its just me and my way of reading, but the first page where you just described Ayden as with his mistress worried me. I know I'm a sucker for a happy ending and I'm hoping this is the case with this book. Please tell me it is. Thanks.

Trinesha I fell in love with the This Man series by Jodi Ellen Malpas, someone suggested it before, but I have to reiterate it. The writer is a literary genius!!!

message 172: by Gigi (new) - rated it 4 stars

Gigi Tous The best books in the moment for me are: Trust A New Beginning (Trust #1) by Cristiane Serruya and Trust Betrayed (Trust, #2) by Cristiane Serruya .
The sequel, Betrayed, is even better than the first one. It's a must read for those who like love, angst, tortured billionaire hunks and beautiful women and, of course, erotic scenes.
And the best is you get an intelligent read with citations well put along the book that will make you think about many things.
I do recommend.

Why does it need to be a trilogy? Get it over in one book! There are tons of books of this segment out there and a lot of them are way better than 50 Shades.

J Kamila:

"Me" series by J. Kenner
"Slow" series by Cecilia Tan
"Songs of Submission" by C. D. Reiss
"Locked" series by Maya Cross

"Me" series is the only one that all 3 are published. My name for the series are not necessarily the ones the author gave them. Its what I call them.

Also, have you read the Gabriel series by Sylvain Reynard. I assume almost everyone has but including it here in case you haven't.
