"Alright, no worries," he smiled. He resumed munching crackers.
Lea nibbled her crackers and finished one, closing her eyes, yet again, she fell asleep
Monkey noticed. He forewent her request and kissed her on the cheek as he stood. He scrawled a quick note and put it on her chest, letting her know where he was going. He stepped out of the door and started on his way to the boiler room.((Would you like to rp as Andrus ^^))
Andrus laid in the boiler room, he was all alone but then a noise caught his attention, letting out a light growl towards the door he sniffed the air to see that it was infact Monkey. He calmed down and assumed a sleeping position.
(( :3 ooh this is going to be fun! But just so you know, andrus knows him as Darwin :O))"Andrus? It's Darwin, just coming to visit!" Monkey yelled down the hallway. He was a turn away from seeing his oldest friend, and a happiness swelled inside him at the thought.
((Mmm, I think not, but being a freak of unnaturaly powerful abilities, he could possibly project thoughts to Darwin--i think darwin only because of their bond, but mind affecting freaks (like lea) could speak to him too, but because of their abilities))
((Oki doki))Andrus opened his eyes and looked at Darwin, he lifted his head and huffed his breath before putting his head back down. He laid onto his side but his gaze was still focused on him.
Monkey sat down next to Andrus. He began to pet his side slowly, looking into his nearly black eyes. He couldn't help but smile at him.
' who is she? ' Andrus growled at DArwin, asking him telepathically he narrowed his gaze
"I suppose you're asking about Lea? She is my, well I guess girlfriend is the closest definition," he said, still stroking Andrus' side.
Andrus didn't like Lea, he growled again ' get rid of her, I don't like her ' he told him
"Andrus, I can't, I l- I just can't," he said, saddened by the fact Andrus didn't like Lea.
' why?!?!? She can't be trusted... she has a demon inside her! ' he snarled
"What are you talking about?" Monkey asked. He was worried, he thought back to Ellette's story, and how she said it wasn't her.
' I warned you to get rid of her, you will find out soon enough ' he told him as her moved from under Darwin's pat, he stood up and walked away ' You are a great friend Darwin, I don't want to see you get hurt, or worse '
"Andrus, please, you have to understand, I couldn't get rid of her any more than I could get rid of you." Monkey said pleadingly.
' then you will suffer, I can't let that happen!' he yelled (mentally)
"Would you please explain! I won't just take your word for it," Monkey said.
' don't you see it? She will begin to change, at first she will be all smiles, she will become your friend then it will soon become more and your sences dull, thinks in her appearance will change, yey colour, hair colour,the way she moves, strange habits, odd behavious. Then when you are to strung up on her you wont be able to leave her when she turns for the worst. It begins with her becoming drowsy, then distant, then all close before she looses it completely. ' he began to explain ' or, you could be lucky and when you get rid of her she goes back to normal, she will become herself and will forget about you '
Monkey sat in silence for a bit, trying to process what he was just told. "But why," he asked.
' you can't be a freak without having a side effect ' he told him softly
"But Andrus, that just doesn't make sense to me, I can't see her like that."
' THEN OPEN YOU EYES! YOU HAVE TO SEE HER FOR THE HORRIBLE 'THING' SHE REALLY IS, OPEN YOUR GOD DAM EYES! ' Andrus snapped ' I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me '
"Andrus, you're my oldest friend, my pal, my brother, but I can't just take your word for it. Ellette isn't like that, she can't be," Monkey said softly, eyes pointed at the floor.
' Darwin, please listen to me, I can't see my brother hurt ' Andrus said as he walked over to him again and sat infront of him ' Don't let me loose you to her, this 'Ellette' girl... Has she had any signs?'
Monkey didn't know how much to reveal, so he decided to play it safe. "After she made contact with you she was a little out of it..."
' oh? how so? ' he asked as he turned his head to the side while raising his eyebrows
"Well, at first she was a bit moody," he said.
' then? ' Andrus pushed for answers
"Well her eyes, uh, flickered to a different color." Monkey said. "But really, why does it matter? You are dangerous, most would call your transformation 'evil', but I didn't see you like that. I saw you for the person you were, are, and I made my judgement on that. I did my best to take care of you, even when you were terrible. I know you remember this," Monkey said as he pulled up his left pant leg, revealing a nasty scar on his calf. "You gave that to me, but I still love you. You have attempted to kill me, but I still love you. I could be arrested for harboring a fugitive, but I do it because I love you!" Monkey yelled.
' And ye you don't trust me?' Andrus said as he lowered his gaze
"Andrus, I trust you, but I refuse to not give Lea the same chance I gave you. You have to understand that we can't make the right decisions, but we can make our decisions right. I made the decision to look after you right, and I'll be damned if I won't give Ellette a shot," he said looking up at Andrus.
' don't say I didn't warn you ' he growled as he walked away trying to tell him to leave
"Andrus--," Monkey got the memo. He walked up, patted Andrus on the haunch and turned down the corridor. He walked back into the appartment feeling confused and worried.
~~~~~~~~~back to Lea~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Lea was still laying asleep, she was lightly twitching arms, legs and she had rapid, random breathing
Monkey watched her for a bit, trying to see what Andrus could possibly have meant. It pained him to see how Andrus reacted, and how strained that conversation had been. Monkey shook his head and sat in the plushy armchair.
Lea calmed down and her eyes opened, they were both a deep sea of coal black, they had no other colour other than a silver pupil, no white, green or even blue. She laid in the same place but did nothing but stare ahead of her
Monkey was immediately on edge and alert. He had a small quip in his mind, like a cynical whisper, 'he was right, she's evil... you are in over your head'. 'Shut up', he thought back. He had a small, internal battle as to make contact. He chose to stay put for the time being.
A small, evil looking smile crept onto Lea's lips, then her eyes clamped shut and the smile was gone from her face and replaced with a yawn as she sat up and rubbed her eyes. She looked at Monkey and her eyes went back to one black one green, "hey" she yawned again, "How's Andrus?"
"Fine," he said, still on edge.
Grabbing a pillow she was laying on, she pulled it up to her chest and stomach, "What?" she asked him noticing how different he was acting "What did he say?"
"Nothing," he said, forcing a smile. He sat back down, and acted relaxed.
Lea put down the pillow and walked into the bedroom and pulled on her clothes before coming back into the loungeroom "It's never just 'nothing'" she told him, one eye continued to flicker on and off black, from full black to only the colouring
"Well we talked about stuff, that's it," he said. He felt disturbed at the fact that the times Lea became different had so far only been after seeing Andrus.
