Alex grabbed her cheek and let go, "You look like a pretty, pretty princess." Alex smiled and gave Ivie a curtsy.

Echo smiled, "Be careful giving Ivie earings. She will probley end up using them to stab someone," she teased

Alex laughed and patted Gem on the shoulder, "Sweetie, we all know you've fallin for his 'gracefulness'." Alex rolled her eyes at how Zach was a clutz.((He was a clutz right? I think I spelled it wrong too...))

Gem smiled,"Sure, he just oozes with finese." She patted his shoulder and turned to Ivie. "But Ives, I was talking about your gorgeousness and how all the boys will chase after you." She said the last part dramatically with a laugh.She was half-joking because Ivie did look really pretty and she just knew it would annoy her by saying it.

Echo smiled, who needed to go to a movie when you had free entertainment right here!

Echo zips up her new hoodie so it wouldn't blow all over the place while she was flying. She walked out the door after paying for their makeovers and says, "Wonder what Ma will say about all this," and waved her hands around smiling Meaning the makeovers
"I think they were talking about heading abck to the bed and breakfast," Echo said
Echo nodded, "I don't mid a little walking," she said
Echo raised her eyebrow and shrugged, "Alright," she said slowly and walked along a sidewalk with her hands in her pocket

Echo shrugged, "Freak might be a euphumism," she said and smiled lightly.

"Thanks," Echo called put softly and followed Gem into the bathroom. The wind on the walk home had already ruffled her hair. So much for styling it. Oh well, she liked it better messed up, she didn't have to worry about it

Echo took her time drying her hands on the towel before hanging it up on the rack, "Yeah," she said and walked out the bathroom door with Gem

Echo stared at the food. She glaced around the room. Could they trust Ma and Pa? What was in this for them? Certainly now a days people weren't een close to this nice. Echo sat down

Echo looked at Gem and shrugged. She held a hand up so only re flock could see, signaling them to wait. Maybe the food was poisoned? She quickly slurped some of the noodles up and chewed slowly. Echo nodded her head, it was good

She took a bite of the food. It was amazingly hearty and delicious. She shoved a huge bite and chewed. She was officially in food heaven.
Ma pushed open the door that separated the kitchen and the dining room. She backed into the room with a basket of buttery garlic bread. When she turned around, her eyebrows flew to her gray hairline in shock. "What did you children do to yourselves? I thought you were goin' to the library." She placed the bread on the table and put her hand on her hip.
Echo winked at Gem, knowing she would be mad at her for trying the food first. But oh well. She turned her attention to Ma, her mouth was full. Quickly half chewing it and swallowing hard, almost choking. "Well, we did go to the library, but we didn't say that was the only place we were going to," she said slowly

((Nice, what one?))Echo smiled and nodded. Even if she did trust Ma, she was still an adult and Echo didn't like adults. She tried to be nice, sometimes it worked, other times it didn't. "What do you expect us to say? We got drunk and let some hobo do our hair?"
((Ah, I missed so much again! What's happening?))
((They have finished their makeovers and are back at Ma's bed and breakfast eating dinner. Ma was just asking them what they did to themselves :)))
"That's what I did," Alex said grinning wildly, "Got so smashed I let them cut my hair, die it too!" Alex buttered a roll and stuffed the whole thing in he mouth.((Thank you!))
((No problem!))Echo smiled and laughed lightly, "But me, I let a clown do mine," she raised a finger to her blue hair. "Seems like they forgot to add the rest of the colors," she said with a fake puzzled look
"Would you like me to fix it? I'll make a fro while I'm at it," Alex said with a serious face.
Echo looked skeptically at Alex, "Thanks, but as tempting as that may sound, Im going to pass."
"Dang," Alex said laughing so hard she almost fell out of her chair.
Echo smiled, "I know, disappointing," she teased and threw a piece of garlic bread at her
Alex friend evilly and flung butter off her spoon.
Echo's mouth shaped an O as the butter came flying toward her. She was able to block most of it with her arm, but some landed on her face. She whipped it off with a napkin like a little lady she wasn't and fought the urge to throw something back at Alex. Echo didn't want to be kicked out. There was free food here! What wasn't to love
"I'll get you, don't you worry," Echo assured and stuffed her mouth full of spaghetti
Echo smiled and started helped herself to a second plate of food
((They got back from makeovers and are now eating dinner back at Ma's))
