"Someone needs to look after Ivie, Snow, Karana, and Scott." Alex replied finishing the last of her milk and throwing it away.

"Erasers and whitecoats could come for them and without Ivie being able to fly away or have a strong enough person to carry her. The whole flock could wind up dead or in the school!" She said screaming the last sentence. She just woke up so she was very annoyed that she had to argue.

"Because we can't know where everyone is all the time. If you want to put kids and a hurt person out there to get lost, go right ahead! But I'M not going to be responsible for their death!"

"That's why you should stay here with the kids." She said slowly like he was a child.
