Gem crashed into the fridge and cringed. She sighed at her blindness and clumsily opened it. She felt around and wrapped her fingers around what felt like a yogurt cup. She pulled it out and opened it. When she took a bite she felt a little victory in the fact that she was right in her guessing. I am pathetic. She thought to herself with a dry chuckle.

Echo walked into the kitchen, she saw Gem. She was eating yogurt with a fork. "You might want a spoon." she grabbed a spoon from the drawer and handed it to her. "How are you doing?" she was concerned about her best friend

"Fine." she said trying to sound cheerful after mumbling a thanks for the spoon.

Echo smiled weakly and handed the spoon to Gem, "Im going to check on Ivie. I gave her some Asprin and I want to see if its working." She walked into Ivie's room

"Glad to see you too." mumbles Echo, "Did the Advil work?" she asks

Gem took her yogurt and newly acquired spoon to the couch and sat down. She ate slowly and totally zoned into her thoughts of the doomsday rally.

Echo sighs and sits on the end of the bed, "Maybe we should get it looked at." right now that was the last thing she wanted to do, but if it would help Ivie, Echo would be at the nearest hosiptal in less than a minute

Gem passed out on the couch without realizing it and started having bad dreams again.

Gem thrashed around and kicked the table next to the couch loudly. She continued to thrash until she rolled off the couch with a thunk.

Echo told Ivie she would be right back as she ran out the door to find the source of the noise. She found Gem on the ground with broken items around her, "Gem!" she ran to her side and picked her up

Alex slowly woke up, "What's going on?" She walked over slowly barely shuffling her feet.

Gem kicked her legs and screamed still asleep, "Let go of me!"

"Gem, Gem!" Echo said forcefully, and laid her on the couch with some difficulty. "Wake up! Its Echo!"

Gem punched Echo hard in the face and was dropped onto the ground in the glass. She kicked some more as random objects and furniture fell or flew across the room.

Alex held her arms and sat on top of Gem keeping her legs down using her feet. "Gem sweetie, wake up." She tried to sound soothing.

Echo clutched her nose, it was already spilling blood. "Gem!" she said, it came out muffled because of her hand. She quickly tackled Gem, pinning her to the ground. Echo sat on Gem and restricted the use of her arms

Gem continued to fight against them in desperation to get away.

Echo put all her weight on Gem an tried to wake her up again. "Gem! Gem!" she shouted. Echo whipped blood from her face onto her shoulder sleeve and turned to Zach, "Could you grab me water? Anything cold that would wake her up?"

Alex laughed softly to herself.

Echo held down Gem's and kept her legs down so Gem couldnt hurt anyone else

Gem gasped as the water dripped down her face. She untangled herself from them and sat up. The glass crunched underneath her hands. "What happened?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Echo rolled off Gem, seeing her wake. She whipped more blood off her face with the back of her hand and answered, "You were sleeping and must have had a nightmare or somthing because you starting hitting and thrashing, breaking things."

Alex started walking back to her bed, "Night!" She called before going to sleep.

Gem sucked in a breath. "Oh god....I'm so sorry you guys. I don't know what's wrong with me...I'll clean this mess up." she started picking the glass up with her bare hands and cut herself on a sharp edge. Blood started seeping through the cut but she didn't care. Silent tears were streaming down her face as she continued to clean up.

"Gem, no. I got it." Echo said and helped Gem stand up, and led her to the couch

"No..." Gem stopped and held back tears before they spilled over her cheeks."I need to....pick...this..up. It's all my fault."

"Gem," Echo said more forcefully with kindessness hidden inside. She hugged her best friend and said, "Its not your fault. Its going to be ok."

Gems tears and blood soaked Echos shirt as she hugged her back. "Thanks." she whispered meaning thanks for everything that her best friend had done for her. She hugged her tighter for a moment then let go. She had composed herself again.

Echo held Gem tight as she cried, "Gem, its ok. Theres no reason to cry." she said comfortingly

Gem nodded and smiled. "I'm okay now Echo. I was just a little overwhelmed....Did I hurt anyone?"

Gem glared in Ivies direction half-heartedly."i might have to take you up on your request Ivie." she smirked

Echo smiled and lied perfectly, "No one was hurt."

Alex laughed.

"Okay..." Gem laughed and jumped on Ivie, tickling her.
