"okay.." Gem said kissing karana good night and said goodnight to the rest of the flock. As they all laid down, she spied echo winking at her discreetly and she rushed out of the room to the mouth of the cave and plopped down. She nervously ran her fingers in the dirt on the floor as she waited for zach to come and sit by her. She tried her best to look calm but failed slightly.

Echo walked into "her room" into the cave and stared at the wall, picturing shapes in the ceiling untill she drifted off to sleep

Feeling like he was reading her mind, gem said slowly "about that...I sorta fell." she said looking down nervously"I'm sorry to fall on you like that." she said embarrassed. Did he say hug? Oh, she hoped he didn't think she was tripping on purpose so that he would catch her. He probably thought she was a creep. She blushed even worse at that thought.

Gem relaxed and couldn't help but feel that this felt right, being in his arms. On instinct, she buried her face in his chest and breathed in his scent.

They stayed for about a half an hour like this, just holding eachother and enjoying one another's company. After a while gem looked up at his smiling face but refused to let go of him.

Surprised, gems eyes open wide at first but then they close as she gets lost in his soft lips. It was like heaven as she tangled her fingers in his shaggy blonde hair.

Gem was out of breath, flushed, and happy. She took in a deep breath and closed her eyes, hugging him again sweetly. Her mind was in total bliss.

Her cheeks flush a crimson red as she realizes how reckless and unlike herself she acted with zach. Ashamed, she brushes her clothes off and walks to the other room quietly without even a glance in zach's direction.
