"That is what I call stupidity! Do you have any idea how dumb that move was?! What if they didn't believe me and we would've been plastered on headlines! Then we would've been caught for sure and sent back to the school!!!! Do you really want to go back to that?!" Gem scolded Alex.

"Look, I didn't mean you specifically, I dont know if you noticed, but i took out a bunch of those erasers and helped take down talbot. This isn't worth fighting about we are on the same side,so if it means so much to you, sorry." Echo looked around for Karana, she never saw her enter the cave, she looked in each of the 5 rooms and found her curled up in a ball asleep.

"If we let people know they could help us bring the school down!" It was getting darker so Alex could sed much better.

Once seeing that Karana was ok, Echo left Karana's room and when to her own.

Flying closer to the tree that they where at before she angrily said "that's not true. Have you heard about the holocaust? All those people around the camps knew about it but they didn't do ANYTHING about it."

"No!" Alex screamed"I dont know what that is! Ive been stuck in the school my wjole life but i havent learned a damn thing!" She then flew as fast as she could go into a near cave and stood at the opening.

"Well, I heard about it from the lab assistants. So, you won't necessarily know about it, it was horrible." She said calming down. But then her heart jumped in her throat when she saw that the flock wasn't in the tree."where are they?!" She shrieked.

Echo heard something and ran out of her room, ready to kick some eraser butt. Realizing it was Alex she relaxd. She noticed that Gem wasnt with her, "There you are! But wheres Gem?"

((She didn't see Alex fly away to the cave)) "Alex?" She asked looking around. She saw a small cave and heard a few soft voices. Cautiously, she peeked around the corner of the cave and was relieved when she saw a pissed Alex and the rest of her flock.

"Who cares!" Alex said her hands flying up. "Im going out for a ride."

She dropped all the grocery bags and ran to check on everyone.

"Oh great youre back." Alex said sarcasticly. "I was just telling... whoever i was leaving but ill be back soon."

Gem did a quick head count then went to karana and woke her up by kissing her gently on the forehead."hi sweetie, we're back and I brought you a surprise."

Alex walked around the woods aimlessly untill she heard voices.

Then turning to Alex she said nicely"Alex, forget everything that happened okay? You just need to be more careful sometimes so we don't get caught."

Turning back to the confused little girl she said ,hidding the doll behind her back"why don't you eat first before you get your present?"

"Sorry honey." Gem smiled sadly"we got chicken soup though." She encouraged convincingly.

Gem grabbed a small jagged rock from the corner of the cave. She managed to puncture the top of the can with it and handed it to karana who was practically drooling.

[Sierra]

"I need to be careful? And when did you get the right to tell me what i need to do im the leader and youre lucky i havent killed you!" Alex said steaming.

Gem began handing out some more cans to the other flock members and opening them. She also grabbed the waters and handed them out as well.

[Sierra]

"Oh and now youre going to ignore me?" Alex asked picking up a can of soup and throwing it at the cave wall causing it to explode everywhere.

"First off, you won't kill me and second we aren't talking about this in front of karana. Either you eat with the rest of us or go calm down outside the cave." Gem said simply but sternly. She wasn't going to be taking this crap right now, she had work to do.

"Karana's a big girl she can handle it. She survied the school for god's sake!" Alex said pissed now.

"What kind of work?" Alex asked reading her mind. "Trying to kill us or turn us in our sleep or something?"

Annoyed, gem said calmly "Alex, you're scaring her." Hearing karanas whimpers from the other room. "Go if you can't calm down. I'm not going to come down to a bratty,reckless girls level. You think you're a leader? Well then why did you act so stupid? Even now, you're smashing our food supply because you're mad that I'm right and you know it. If you were a true leader, you'd set a good example not a bad one. Now, if you'd excuse me, I need to finish feeding everyone and that's my only job currently since you were wondering." She turned on a curt heel, and went to check on karana,leaving Alex with her jaw almost touching the ground.

Calmed by Alex's not existent side of the argument, she turned back around and said "im not yelling and Alex? You don't even have any reasons that are relevant to your accusations." Gem shrugged and said"I was only hesitating at the store because I was worried about the FLOCK. I only want to keep us all safe, including you. But I can't do that when you basically beckon all erasers to come get us with stupid pranks. If you want to be a leader start acting like one. I'm not controlling you around, im making sure you don't make a mistake that will get us all killed."

"You still havent said anything about how i got the money for the food." Alex said trying to get back in her mind.

Gem sighed, exhausted by the days events and the argument. She slowly walked to ivies "room" and knocked on the limestone wall. She saw karana and smiled at her tired. "Hey kiddo. You finish eating?"

"Well, that means you can have your gift now....close your eyes." Gem said reaching into her pocket

Gem places the small doll in the little girls hands and hopes that she likes it.

Gem grins and asks "you like it?"

Gem smiles even wider and asks ivie who is near her,"how's her arm and wing been? Almost healed right?"

Gem didn't see Zach walk into Ivie' s room and jumped when she heard his voice behind her. She spun around quickly, tripping over her and fell directly on him.

"Geez, get a room." joked Echo with food in her mouth

"Alright you love doves... Has everyone had a chance to grab something to eat?" asked Echo

"If I may make a suggestion, I think we should find a hotel to stay at and do some research on Itex?"
