"Ok, in about a mile, you will go right on to a ramp that will lead you to a big road that we should take. We will take that for a while, and can get off if we want to switch drivers or rest or grab something to eat, we will be on the roads for a few days..."
"Ok... so the compas always points north on a map?" Alex asked confused.
"I belive so... on paper it never moves. But if you were to have a real one, it would face north whichever way you turned..."
"Ok..." Alex said still looking at the map.
"And with the roads, you just have to know where you are," she pointed on the map where they were, "and find roads that will take you to where you want to go, I think.." she continued
"So you mean we are here..." Alex pointed to Colarado. "And we want to get there?" She pointed at Maryland.((Im terrible at geography so tell me if those are the right places! I have to google search a map just to get those!))
"Yes, basically what i do is find roads that intersect. So, when one road ends or turn off, we switch onto another road.." she explained((Don't worry, geography is my worst subject... haha thank goodness for google!))
"We will stay on this road for what looks like a few hours," Echo said to Gem

((My fourth grade teacher made me write in cursive on the board... like they do in those old school movies... 'Italy is a counrty it is not a city in France' and i thought Misouri was a city in Wyoming :/ my english teacher told me that this year!))"Ok so after we go on this road we need to go here?" Alex pointed to the correct path.

"We are on what looks like a highway... we dont turn unless we want to get off it... We will, but not for a few hours....." she explained, then turned around to fix Karana so she wouldn't fall..
Alex looked out the window. There was no woods.
((Erasers attacked, they escaped, Alex stole a car, Ivie was knocked uncontious but is awake now, some of the flock members are sleeping and they are on the road now to head to D.C))
((ok thanks))rosey shifted uncomfortably in her sleep
Echo continued to look at the map, suddenly she had an idea. She looked in the glove compartment and found a marker. She drew a line on the roads they should take to D.C, starting with the one they were on now. She thought of it like a puzzle
Rosey sat up to see what Echo was doing she rubbed her eyes "were are we going again" her stomic growls
"We are heading to D.C." Echo replies and points to the spot on the map that will be their destination. She looks back at Rosey and hands her some food
"ok and thanks" rosey eats hungerly "how long do you think it will take us to get there?"
"Your welcome, and I think maybe a few days. We are traveling across the U.S., so it will take a little while." she smiles
"That makes two of us..." echo mumbles
"what sould we do?" rosey askes
"I have no idea, it will be a while before we make another stop..."

((can we skip past all this driving and get to a gas station so someone else could drive and we would be closer to dc?))
((yah i think we should))"i have to go to the bathroom" rosey said crossing her legs
"I need to walk and fly!" Alex said jummping up and looking around. Her wing still hurt painfully but she would have to deal. "Look! There's a gas staion!"
"FINALY! i have to go so badly" rosey said her legs still crossed
((We are still driving and about to stop at a gas station.))

Alex ran out the dorr limping as she ran but not caring.

rosey dashed out of the car and into the gas station she came out lator looking more relaxed
Alex limped around looking for a place to streatch her wings.
"i feel so much better" rosey said streaching
Alex finaly found a place and streatchedout her wings. Winching as she did.
Rosey dashed over to Karana "Karana KARANA! are you ok?" she starts to shack her
"help me you guys something is wrong with Karana!" rosey cried pointing to the car
"GUYS I NEED YOUR HELP FAST IT'S KARANA!" rosey cried paniced
"HELLO KARANA IN TROBBLE HERE AND YOUR DOING NOTHING!! I NEED HELP!" rosey cried
Echo heard Rosey screaming and ran out of the gas station. Running across the pavement she reached the car and flew the door open. She started at Karana's wrist with her mouth open. Then shaking herself, she unbuckled Karana and set her on the edge of the car. "Karana, its ok.." Echo mumbled trying to figure out what what going on
Echo heard moaning behind her and turned around to see Ivie lying on the pavement. "Ivie!" Echo yelled and steadied Karana against Rosey. She got up and rushed to Ivie's side, picked her up and set her next to Karana. They had two problems on their hands. Karana and her black wrist, and Ivie, who cant stand... she didnt know how to fix either of them, but decided on giving Ivie water, hoping that would help.
"No problem. You feeling ok? Do you have any idea whats wrong with Karana?" Echo asked despreatly
