Hey guys, I've just started reading Pandemonium about 20% of the way in. So far I like the interchanging perspectives between now and then, it creates intrigue with what happened to get to the 'now'.
At first I wasn't sure but then I liked the switching perspectives too ;) Made it a very unique book.
Yeah it does make it every interesting, the 'now' feels more like present day whereas the 'before' is really primal...seems like Alex isn't in the mix in the 'now' either...guess I'll read on to find out more :)
I've been sooo slack, I got addicted to some Android social games and have been playing those on my tablet. I'm about 35% of the way through and what strikes me about reading dystopians is that you have to be in the mood for them - they are kind of depressing! That being said, I really am enjoying this a lot more than the previous book.

Lol I get so addicted to games too! Yeah, they can definitely be depressing, but I like that the characters have real adversity they have to overcome :)

I probably won't start this until next week or later, I have some other books I have to read first :p
That's so true David, I like your p.o.v. on dystopians :) it definitely feels like all odds are against them and their lives are just so stricken by poverty and segregation.
I'm up to the part where she's escaping with Julian...and in the past she's just had to kill a rabbit too. Does it get really good afterwards?
Anshita wrote: "I'm gonna start it on 12th March. Anyone up for buddy reading?"I might start it around that time. I want to read it before I get Requiem, so I'll let you know :)
Lol sorry Jeann, looks like you're the early bird! But I've read it so we can chat about it ;) It gets pretty good!
Oops, sorry guys. I'll make sure I use the spoiler tag.Just finished Pandemonium and wow, it got really good at the end! Here's my review when you've finished reading it: http://happyindulgence.wordpress.com/...
Dalu, sorry I had to delete your comment as we don't allow too much swearing in the group since it's aimed at YA lovers :) But I've kept the gist of it here, because I love your enthusiasm :)
