Forest

There are paths in the forest that lead to the lake, stream, river, and up the moutain.

Essence started picking blackberries that she found at the bottom of the mountain. She then began to hum to the tune the birds were chirping.

Ash walks through the forest, the shadows landing on his face. ((He also has the power of darkness.))

((Oooo sounds so kewl! :) ))

Essence traveled to the berry bush next to the one she had just emptied. A baby blue bird landed on her shoulder and whistled for her. She smiled and then moved on to the next bush.

((*nods* He's awesome))

Ash looks around when he hears the bird and smiles a bit, he then starts walking on, his head facing down with his hood covering his eyes.

When the bird flew away she was sad to lose its company. but then she saw a dandelion and smiled. She laid down on the grass and started connecting the dandelions together.

((Iz am?! o.o When'd that happen?! *Looks under rock* Do you know mr. turtle? *Knocks on shell* Hello? Oh wait.... this is a rock.... *THrows over shoulder and smiles innocently.*))

Ash sees a girl and looks at her, he seems to stop, she was beautiful. He knew that she probably wouldn't even give him a side ways glance but he didn't care.

Essence, begins to sing to herself, lost in her own thoughts. When she finishes the dandelion crown she puts it on her head and leans against a tree.

Ash smiles at her, then without really thinking, he picks a red tulip and takes it over to her, "I thought you might like this to go with your dandilions." he says with a shy smile.

[Ms_Sara_Darling]

Her eyes widen in shock, she thought she was the only one here. Then she looks up and notices a young man with a tulip in his hand. "Oh," she got up, "thank you," she smiles at him.

[Kate Kid, Head Freak]

Ash scratches the back of his head through his hood and nods, "No problem." He says. He didn't know if he should go or not, maybe he was intruding.

[Ms_Sara_Darling]

She adds the tulip to the crown and smiles even wider at him, "So whats your name stranger?" She is pleased to have company with someone other than an animal or her grandma. She then starts to hope that he wont leave

Ash smiles at her, she didn't want him to leave, he then bows like a weirdo and says, "Ash VanDel, at your service."

[Ms_Sara_Darling]

She giggles, "Why thank you kind sir," she bows with him. "My name is Essence, Essence Faire," her cheeks start to redden.

He stands normally, "That is a beautiful name." He says.

[Ms_Sara_Darling]

"Thank you," she blushes even redder, "not as awesome as Ash though." She takes a blackberry from her basket and pops it into her mouth.

He smiles a bit, "My name fits very well with me...."

[Ms_Sara_Darling]

"How so?" She beams while eating another black berry.

[Kate Kid, Head Freak]

He then realizes that he had said to much and his palms started sweating. He then saved himself, "Well Ash is dark, as is my hair and eyes. And well, clothing."

[Ms_Sara_Darling]

She laughed, "Ah, and what makes you so dark?" Not meaning to she takes a step closer, teasing him with a smile.

Ash plays which his hands as he looks down as his mind starts to race, "I- uh...."

[Ms_Sara_Darling]

"I wont judge," she brushes back some of her hair.

[Kate Kid, Head Freak]

He shakes a bit, "I- I'm not like normal people."

[Ms_Sara_Darling]

Essence starts to smile hoping that someone is actually like her, "Really? That's awesome! What makes you different?"

[Kate Kid, Head Freak]

He starts breathing a little fast, "I- I control.... nightmares...."

[Ms_Sara_Darling]

"Do you use this gift for good, or for evil?" she begins to hope he says good, because she wants to keep talking to him.

"I don't use it. I never want to." He answers. "I only use it when nessasary."

((Im getting kicked off the lap top but Ill still rp from my phone itll just take a little longer for me to respond) oh no not your identity!)
"Good, I'm glad, Im not normal either, so dont feel uncomfortable."

He looks at her, "What? How?"

"Im a Witch, well a nature witch, its um, Im good I promise, dont worry," she looks down a little nervous on how he will react.

[Kate Kid, Head Freak]

((Nope! And be on tomorrow!))

He nods at her, "I see." He didn't freak out and actually was calmer. Knowing she wouldn't think he was an entirly freak.

[Ms_Sara_Darling]

Essence relaxed her shoulders when she saw how calm he was. "How strange, people use to hate my kind and its even more strange that there are more people who are different," she frowned, "I guess I've missed a lot while in hiding."

"I don't mind." He then takes a seat on the soft grass, it bringing out his grey eyes. "I know how it is to be hated." He whispers pulling up his sleeves to show his nice scars, most of them abuse, some of them self harm.

[Ms_Sara_Darling]

Essence sits down next to him and touches one of the scars on his arm. She starts to trace one with her finger hating that someone did this to him, "I am sorry for your pain, it must have been awful for you."

Ash crings a bit, "It's alright." he says softly, "I've gone through it for a long time. I'm used to it."

She let's go letting her hands fall onto her lap, "I do not think its okay, who did this to you?"

He bit his lip as he looked away at the flowers and dandilions, he didn't wish to say, but he'd probably end up saying in the end. He was tense.

[Ms_Sara_Darling]

"We all have pasts, ones we are not proud of. My past, it is, my past is long," she sighs, "if you don't wish to tell me its all right, your past is written in your eyes, I can read that it troubles you so." She lifted the dandelion crown off of her and put it on him, "You are a brave one."

[Kate Kid, Head Freak]

Ash looks at her in shock, "No one has ever said that.... I'm always the weak one...." he says softly. He accepted the flower with a smile and looks at it. "Do you really want to know?" He looked up at her with sad eyes.

"You my good sir are no weakling, and yes i'd like to know," she smiles at him. Then she scoots closer to him, "Your past makes you who you and you are a strong and brave person."

Ash smiles at her, then frowns again, "My parents hate my very being. My mother isn't as bad as my father, but they beat me." He says softly.

"They hated what they didn't understand, they didn't hate you, in a way they wanted you to be normal I guess, so just think if you were normal they wouldn't have hurt you, not that they should've laid a finger on you anyway," Essence stared at the ground and frowned. "My village didn't understand me, so the townspeople burnt my house to the ground killing my family but I forgave them because if I didn't it would haunt me forever, well I still have a fear of fire."

Ash tenses up, "F-fire?" He asks. He looked down, she would fear him. He shakes his head slowly and he was frowning.

[Ms_Sara_Darling]

"Yes, I wake up every night with nightmares of flames swallowing my house whole with no way to escape, sometimes I can't even be near a flame my gram has to light the fires," she looks in the direction of her hut, "fire in my eyes is the worst way to perish."

Ash looks at her, "fire isn't all bad.... You just have to use it correctly."

[Ms_Sara_Darling]

"I know its just, I can't stand the sight of it, it brings back the memories," a tear rolls down her cheek and she wipes it off with her hand. She shifts her weight to the left, "I just can't be around fire."

[Kate Kid, Head Freak]

Ash looks away, "I should probably go." He says softly, he knew she'd find out, and when she did, she'd hate him.

"Don't go!" she laughed nervously while touching his arm, "don't go."

Ash looks at her, "You'll hate me. Probably lose any trust you have in me." He says. ((Shoudl I have his dad find him and Ash has to put up a fire wall?))
