What you are: non-mutant with special power, but was given more by the school.
Background:She was born with a special ability, and then taken by the school from her family for money. Her family sold her to the school, she was a child of 7 and her family was poor, so they agreed on selling Al. She escaped when she was 10 and has been in and out of the school ever since. Her best friend, and half sister Jax, and her are amazingly close and share a telepathic bond with one another.
Personality:Al is untrusting, but very outgoing. She is kind, caring, brave, loyal and courageous. She will die for what she thinks is right and doesn't fear death.

{Background}: Jemma was the daughter of a very rich man. At the age of seven she was sent to the School to be grafted with wings. This was he own choice, to be different. The School treated her very well, since her father is one of its main financial supporters.
{Personality}: Jemma is a very smart and calculating person. She knows how to get what she wants from anyone. She has a cold outlook on the world, since she is mad at it for the death of her mother (who died when Jemma was just six). Deep down she can be very caring and sweet, but she doesn't let many people see that. She is great at manipulating almost anyone.

Background: Grant was the son of the founder of the school. He was not experimented on, but taught all about the school so someday he may take over and run it when his parents died. So that's what he did, trained and educated from a young age, it was impossible for him not to grow up wanting to be like mommy and daddy.
He was brilliant even at a young age, excelling in every aspect of mathematics and sciences. So that's why he was chosen to take over after his parents instead of his brother. His brother, in fact, was cut from the training program and turned into an eraser.
At the age of 29 Grant met a scientist who had recently started working for them. He fell head over heals in love with her and at age 31, they were married. For a year, they ran the school together. It didn't last long before his wife decided that what the school was doing was wrong and tried to run. He sent erasers after her and they brought her back, but she had killed herself on the ride home.
Personality: Grant is short tempered and ruthless. He will get what he wants when he wants. He is very impatient, and has a loud demanding voice. He doesn't get pushed around and takes charge when needed. He shows no mercy and get the job done at whatever the cost. Easy to say, he is quite careless.

History: Drake was abused at a young age. He never experienced kindness from his parents, his mother dying while he was young. He grew up being constantly bullied for being a scientific genius. While attending a nearby university in Colorado, he heard stories of the school. Intrigued, he sought more information. Drake started out as an intern for them, but eventually worked his way up to a decent position over the years.
Personality: Like every other whitecoat, Drake is careless. He is very demanding and always calculating. He thinks about the big picture and plans ahead. He is not like a normal person, he enjoys seeing pain. He doesnt think of the mutants as children, but experiments.

Let's just say a phone call and a few months of "Schooling" kick-started his "world-saving" profession.
When the newly named Dr. Ashford (also newly named head director of his location for his extreme dedication to the cause.)went out for an unusual shopping spree, he happened to meet the woman of his unknown dreams. They fell in love and had a child named Scarlett. Now while his wife was impregnated, she did not know her husband's true profession nor what he did to her while she was sleeping.
At the time, Dr. Ashford had just learned of a new way to initiate cross-breeding of species through injections to an unborn fetus. Guess who his first experiment was, yep, his unborn child. While his wife was sleeping, he'd do this periodically and blame the wounds on a "spider problem in the house"
His baby girl was born with a set of wings and strange hybrid insides. As he thought of it as success, his wife found it horrifying and left him and the "defective child" the night of.
Dr. Ashford, now depressed, raised his child, Scarlett, in the sterile and horrible atmosphere of the School. He treated her as a star and gave her many enhancements. Unfortunately, he always pushed her past her limits to the point where she almost died several times. When she escaped at fourteen years old, his heart cracked. Now he vows to do anything and everything to get her to come back. After all, she was his first success...
Personality: Dr. Ashford is a very manipulative man that makes you take the words that you said and make it seem like it wasn't correct unless you agrred with him. He always does what he always thinks is the right thing for society. He gets his way too often, but is otherwise known to be calm and relaxed. There is still some depression in him from the loss of both his wife and his daughter.
