Daniel knocked on Sophie's door.
Sophie answered her door and smiled at Daniel, "Hi"Josh walked outside and smiled at Raina, "Hey there"
He was wearing a tight under armour short with jeans."Hey... Wanna go to dinner?" His hair was also spiked up. Raina's hair was curled and In a side ponytail, and was wearing a shorter yellow sundress."Hi."
Sophie smiled, "Sure" Sophie's hair was in a simple french braid, and she was wearing a simple tank top and shorts."How are you?"
He smiled,"Not here?" He asked with a bit of mischievous look in his eyes. She turned to him."Good, but sore." Raina shrugged."You?"
Sophie laughed, "No, unless you can charm the cooks into giving us a basket of food.""A bit sore, but other than that I'm good."
"Fine. I have a charm you know?" He winked, and stepped aside so she could walk out. "Yep."
She walked out of her room, "Let's just see how much you have.""So...It's a beautiful evening isn't it?"
Daniel nodded, a bit amused. She nodded, looking out onto the deck."I love Summer."
Josh leaned on the rail of the balcony, "Yeah, it is so amazing."Sophie grinned.
She smiled softly.."What was life at home for you like?" He lead her to the kitchen, and back to the cooks section.
"My parents we're university teachers, so mostly it's been Sophie and me..."Sophie smiled as she entered the cooks section.
"Oh." "Think you can cook up a basket for us two?"
"It may seem lonely but it was kind of nice, we both looked out for each other."
"Yeah." She sighedEventually, he talked them into it and they were ready.
Sophie laughed as the door closed behind them, "Nice!""What was it like for you at home?"
He laughed and grinned She sighed,"I really wasn't even alive... They acted like I wasn't there."
Josh squeezed her hand, "That's too bad, but here's the thing, you matter to me.""Guess you really do have a lot of charm." she said with a big smile.
She looked at him, her head to the side."Really?" Raina was doing good on hiding her excitement. He smiled and led her out the back exit. It was lighted and pretty with a blanket lying out. He smiled again.
"Really" Sophie sat down on the blanket, still smiling.
She smiled again."Me too." "Like it?"
Josh smiled"Yeah, it's great."
She smiled back then looked out into the balcony. He smiled, and say down, beginning to set all the food items out.
"So what are your hobbies?" Josh asked."It's so beautiful out here."
"Reading, writing, sports... Singing." She said a bit Shyly. "It's a perfect night." He smiled and gave her a plate
"Yeah it is." Sophie smiled and she took her plate."Really singing? Try singing something for me."
He smiled and began putting a few things on his plate. She blushed,"Uh... I don't know.."
"It's just me, please?" Josh asked with a smile.Sophie put a some food on her plate.
She took in a shaky breath and began in a sweet tone. Raina sang "The Show" by Lenka, her voice sweet and melodious.He smiled again and waited for her to finish before he finished his.
"Wow, you're amazing!" he said, his mouth open.Sophie set her plate on the blanket.
"Thanks." She stuttered, smiling warily He began eating, pausing to ask,"What do you do? Like hobbies or activities?"
"I like to do tiquando a little, I'm a black belt in it."
"What do you like to do?" Sophie asked.
"Lacrosse, basketball, football, track."
"Cool! I've had thoughts about joining track, is it any fun?"
Sophie smiled, "Do you have any other things that you like to do?"
