I would recommend either night flock or Novum, if you want you can click on their threads and read a bit to see which you would like to join!
I'll join Night Flock as a ordinary member. Will they like automatically know that I have joined their flock?
That sounds good!No they will not. What you will do is tell them that you have joined their flock and it would be in your best interest to ask what is currently taking place before you start role playing so you have an idea of the setting/plot. I posted a guideline related thing above/earlier if you need more help

What's currently happening in Maximum Shadow flock right now?
Right now the flock has just escaped the School, in Colorado. They had taken refuge in the canyons to stay hidden and now have gotten a little lost. Hayden is sick, and possibly dying. They are trying to find their way out now, and are running into another mutant
Someone should make some characters for the Crescent flock...
I have a character, but they are kinda stuck until people respond...
