Have you sent them to your Kindle as Docs so they are in your Amazon account or have them backed up on your computer?

I think I did do this for a lot of files. But I also sideloaded a lot of files.

Ludovico Einaudi - "Elegy for the Arctic" - Official Live (Greenpeace)
Through his music, acclaimed Italian composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi has added his voice to those of eight million people from across the world demanding protection for the Arctic.
Einaudi performed one of his own compositions on a floating platform in the middle of the Ocean, against the backdrop of the Wahlenbergbreen glacier (in Svalbard, Norway).
Travelling on board Greenpeace ship Arctic Sunrise on the eve of a significant event for the future of the Arctic: this week's meeting of the OSPAR Commission, which could secure the first protected area in Arctic international waters.

New Ani DiFranco Song Is A Battle Cry For Reproductive Freedom

Their album is so good. There isn't one bad song on it. I love them all.

I love the book ♡ very much and since Josh said the audiobook will be released in October I looked every day, if it's available. A little bit crazy, I know.

That's probably what I'll do with the next Holmes&Moriarity audiobook.
We could call it the "Josh syndrome" and create a support group.

That's probably what I..."
Ähem, isn't this here not the support group? :-D

I always thought this was the "enabling group", but sure, we can live in denial and call it a support group. I'm totally okay with it, as long as nobody touches my books. :D

Yay, thanks missed that and just got my new credit :)

The book is one of my favourite reads and the audiobook is wonderful too.
You have made a very good choice. I 'see' your characters, when I read your books, now I can see and hear Sam and Jason.

This is my feeling. And I love the little careful touches. When someone is speaking with their mouth full, he captures that. When a voice is supposed to fade away, he captures that too. Those little details set him apart.

When someone can do little things like that, and bothers to, that's pretty huge.
Though I've definitely listened to a few books where the narrator did too much with sound effects that it irritated me a bit.

Yes, that is quite irritating, but here it is subtle, it is not stopping the flow of the narration.
I should also mention that I started listening to The Starving Years after wanting to listen to it for months. Finally finished the previous one and got to it, and I'm loving it. But of course, I love all of Jordan's stuff and the narrator is wonderful, as always!

He's a keeper!
I love his voice and how he does the voices of the different characters. The way he does the subtle changes in tone, even in the same sentence is admirably. And he can make his voice real gentle. That's quite rare, I think. Most would just do it with lowering their voice but he can give it a certain quality...
I've been listening in the car this week. That's not the ideal place to enjoy an audiobook. I'll definitely give this a re-listen in a quieter, unhurried time and space.

Perfect pairing of narrator & book. I've listened to this 3 times already. I'll be on the look out for other narrations by him.

I'm only three chapters in, but so far I like him a lot.

Just finished this last night and loved it. Kale is a wonderful narrator. I loved his interpretation of characters. And Sam? Just wow! What a great choice for this series (I hope).

I've got this on my wish list. Soon as I can afford to buy more audiobooks, it'll be first on my list!
But I'm also slowing down on the audio because there are so many print books I'm trying to get read by the end of the year for various reasons.

Goldberg Variations, an arrangement for string trio live this morning at the same warehouse venue where we've danced many nights.
Seriously enjoying Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, even though it's Jim a Dale as a narrator. I've got some issues with hoe he narrates some things, but overall he's all right. I hear the UK narrator is fantastic, but haven't run into his versions yet here in the state.

The UK narrator is Stephen Fry. And he is really fantastic!

It was unbearable, kind of theatrical in all the wrong ways. Just out of curiosity I listened to the original version and it is all right.

I might have to look him up someday. I can imagine he would do a much better job. :-)

I could never understand why they needed two different narrators for the English (UK & US) versions of Harry Potter. If given a choice, I'd choose Stephen Fry. Yes, I know the books are a little different, but couldn't the book sellers offer both versions and let the buyer decide?

It makes as much sense as "translating" the books in American English...like Americans usually need a translator to understand British English.
Right? I wish they'd just gone with one narrator for both. *shrugs* oh well. Maybe some day, when I decide to upgrade my cassette collection to something else, I'll look up Stephen Fry's version. I'd like something that's more authentic.
I mean, Jim Dale is good. He's not bad. I am enjoying his narration, but there are a few niggles I have with it. Specifically the way characters tend to whine Harry's name and they come out sounding like petulant children. Having read the books, I know they're not, but still. They irritate me. lol.

I'm so nervous about Tuesday. I know a lot of us are. PLEASE VOTE!

The whole world is nervous.
Please _tell people to_ vote!

From the country that paid, and it's still paying, a huge price as the result of an atrocious leadership, please, vote.
Believe me, there's always a least worst option.
