oh you lucky, lucky girl... you get Tristan James (my all time favorite narrator) *sigh* he's incredible. He does some books for Mary Calmes too that are fantastic and he does a few under the name TJ Jameson. I know you'll love them.

The narrator is just splendid. They're on my relistening list only because of the narrator.

Ame | 1744 comments Listening now to Glitterland. It's like listening to poetry or music. I sometimes zone out while listening because it's effects my brain like music in which I get totally lost in.

Yes, it's lovely, isn't it? I'm in the middle of listening to Glitterland too. It's been a while since I'd read it and I'd forgotten how funny it is. The narrator is so good with the humour.

And more on Glitterland which still is like poetry but. Any of you know Little Britain? Listening to Essex makes me feel like I'm listening to Little Britain. And then I go straight to yotube and watch one show and laugh my ass off. Glitterland will take long for me to finish ;)

Trio | 670 comments Oh, I have Glitterland on Audible (got it in the sale) but that book was so emotional for me that I've put off listening to it - everyone says it is just amazing...

Ehmm...the first time I've heard this I thought it was a woman singing: Vivaldi (Il Giustino): 'Vedrò con mio diletto'

Hear also:
Handel (Partenope): 'Furibondo spira il vento'
Vivaldi: Stabat Mater

That's a love I definitely share :-)

Do you know the Duetti he recorded with Max Cencic? Especially this one, it's my favourite:

Or the Stabat Mater by Pergolesi he did with Julia Leshneva? There is a feature with excerpts and interviews: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaCPn...

She does! Btw, any avid audible listeners, I guess there's a new beta program to share any 'eligible' book in your listening library to a friend. Unfortunately it looks to be US only at the moment.

http://www.audible.com/mt/onebook-how...

But, and this isn't US only as far as I know, you may 'gift' any whispered book you own at the discounted price to any email. I've done this for many friends, and gotten them hooked on Josh's books *smiles

That's interesting! As far as I know this is not something Audible/ACX has shared with rights owners.

Antonella | 11565 comments A German group playing for refugees:
Bukahara - New Home

If you buy the song
http://itunes.apple.com/ch/album/new-...
they write:
100% of the proceeds will be donated to refugee organisations!
For this video we filmed in a refugee asylum, in a school, in a kiosk, at peoples´ homes or simply in the streets. It's indispensable to realize the fact that everybody needs a home and that everybody should be home everywhere.

Josephine (jojiemon_) | 225 comments A Love to Last a Lifetime by Jose Mari Chan

We're all just merely passing through
Doing what we can do in our lifetime
We have more than one adventure to take
More than one dream to make in our lifetime
As for me there's only one dream
And that's to love you, my love
With a love to last a lifetime ♫

I am so sentimental :D

I put my Audible credits into good use today when I purchased these:

Swordspoint (Riverside, #1) by Ellen Kushner The Lady in the Lake (Philip Marlowe #4) by Raymond Chandler Cannery Row by John Steinbeck

At the moment I'm listening to this. I'm not ashamed to say I chose it strictly because it's narrated by Colin Firth. His soft voice is very soothing to listen to. :-)

The End of the Affair by Graham Greene
